Deceased cats in our care at VSA Henderson

We're sad to share that we are currently caring for three cats who have passed away. We're posting in the hope of reuniting them with their families, so they can be brought home and given the goodbye they deserve.

🐾 Ginger male, approx. 2 years old, entire
Found critically unwell by members of the public in New Lynn on 7 October. Sadly, he was humanely euthanised at our Henderson site to end his suffering. He may have been part of a local colony, but we would like to make sure he isn't someone's much-loved pet.

🐾 Black and white "tuxedo" male, domestic medium hair, entire
Found deceased on Universal Drive, Henderson, on 2 October.

🐾 Young black female, domestic short hair
Found deceased on 6 October after being hit by a car on or near Whati Lane, Henderson.

If you think one of these cats may be yours, please contact our Henderson site on 09 320 5645. Our team will be happy to talk with you and help you identify your cat.

If we can't find their owners, these cats will be cremated with care.

We know how hard it is to read posts like this. Please feel free to share so we can reach as many people in the area as possible. 💛
