Clinic Closed Friday 4th September

Our clinic will be closed this Friday, 4th September, as our amazing team takes a well-deserved day to work together, recharge and enjoy some team building.

What used to be known as kitten season has well and truly become kitten season all year round. The number of animals needing desexing has surged, and our team has been working non-stop to support animals, rescues and our local community with their pets.

It’s been an incredibly busy year, and our team continues to show up every day ready to care for your animals and support you and your families.

This Friday is about taking that teamwork outside of the clinic. We’ll be spending the day working together, taking on some challenges, having plenty of laughs and strengthening the relationships that make our team so great.

With another busy few months ahead, including multiple litters, allergy season and everything that spring brings, it’s important that our team has the opportunity to recharge together. By investing in our team and taking the time to reconnect, we can come back refreshed, connected and energised — ready to provide the very best care and support to you and your pets.

We truly appreciate the patience, understanding and ongoing support from all of our wonderful clients, rescue partners and community. Thank you for trusting us with the animals you love.

CLOSED: Friday 4th September
REOPENING: Saturday 5th September at 9am

We’ll be back on Saturday refreshed, re-energised and ready to get back to what we love — looking after your pets.

Owner has been in contact and picked up
**Found Dog**

This little girl was found on Staveley Ave, Mount Roskill.
She is unfortunately not chipped. She will be staying the night with us overnight. Proof of ownership is required. Please get in touch if this is your dog by calling us on 09 218 7809, or messaging us directly.

Happy belated birthday to our fave vet at Lynfield Vets, Dr Teresa Chai! 🎂🐾🥳
Dr TC took a day off on her birthday yesterday 🤫 but nice try, TC - you can't hide from cake 🍰, candles 🕯️, and the obligatory photo 📸 (turns out the rest of the team are just as camera shy 🙈😂)
Thanks for everything you do for our furry patients, our team, and our clients 🐶🐱💕 Here's to another trip round the sun ☀️ Hope this year brings all the tail wags, purrs, and good vibes for the year ahead 😉

Meet Leo and Ash (currently getting fostered by our nurses)

Desexed, chipped, registered, 1st vax, parasite free

The boys were found alone outside at 10 weeks and surrendered to one of our partner vets. They’ve been cared for by a vet nurse who has asked for help to home them together.

Ash the silver tabby is a curious, gentle and confident little man who loves to spend his days playing with his brother. He likes to climb high and find a nice spot to curl up on to go to sleep. He will have a little cuddle but doesn't like to stay too long, but when he does he is a purring machine. Ash was very smoochy straight from the streets and was foster by himself for 10 days until his brother Leo was caught.

Leo the dark tabby was found 10 days after his brother. He is more wary of his surroundings and takes a little more time to get used to people. It took him a week and a half to trust his humans (he went from running away from people to sitting and waiting patiently for a scratch on the head) to wanting to sit on your lap. Leo is more cuddly than Ash but Leo brings out the confidence in him.

The boys are great with kids and other cats, they could adjust to a chill and cat friendly dog.

To meet them please message us. Note that adequate completion of an adoption questionnaire and a fee of $200 for both boys applies.

From 1 June 2026, we will be making some adjustments to our pricing.

The last time we updated our prices was in February 2025. Since then, we've seen ongoing increases in the cost of medications 💊, laboratory services 🔬, consumables 📦, supplier charges, wages 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️, and pretty much everything else that goes into running a veterinary clinic.

We've worked hard to keep these increases as small as possible and to continue offering affordable veterinary care without compromising on the quality of care your pets receive ❤️🐶🐱.

One of the reasons we've been able to keep our prices lower than many clinics is because of the amazing support from our clients 🙏. The more pets we see, the more efficiently we can operate, helping us keep costs down for everyone.
