The days are getting warmer, the sun is hanging around a little longer, and we’re ready for the busy months ahead!

Last week, I said goodbye to a very special friend, Gemma.

The love, joy, and companionship our dogs bring into our lives are beyond measure. During their short time with us, they teach us to live in the moment, find happiness in the little things, be patient, and shamelessly embrace our quirks. Even when they’re no longer by our side, their presence lingers in the lessons they’ve taught, the unconditional love they’ve shared, and the memories that stay with us forever.

Though home feels emptier now, Gemma’s love and the lessons she left behind will always shine through in the work I do today. She was a huge part of why I fell in love with this journey all those years ago.

Our time together was wild, full of adventure and youthful thrills, memories that I’ll cherish forever. May you forever dive-bomb off rocks, run, jump, and swim to your heart’s content.

GROOMWARS DOG EXPO 2024

In October, I had the chance to compete at the Groomwars Dog Expo and was stoked to take 2nd place in the Intermediate Teddy Bear Class! Thank you to for sponsoring this class! I also want to give a big shoutout to Evie for being an absolute superstar and to Merridee for trusting me with her fur baby. A lot of preparation goes into competing, so thank you both so much!

The weekend was filled with seminars, competitions, learning about new products, reconnecting with familiar faces, and meeting some new ones!

Meeting some of America’s top groomers, who judged the competitions and led the seminars, was a true highlight. I gained so many valuable skills and received amazing feedback on my competition groom, which I’m excited to apply in the salon and in future competitions! Thank you !

I can’t wait to compete again next year!! 🙌🏼
