Missy Myrtle - French bulldog care & homestays A home away from home for your French Bulldog or Boston fur baby. Daytime or longer stays available.

We are a French Bulldog homestay & daycare that provide all the comforts of home for your fur babies. We have have been lucky enough to have had frenchies with us since 2004 and have been in love ever since with them. We are well experienced in many things (almost all I would say!) Frenchie, particularly in noticing an issues (health or otherwise) that might come up, and keeping them safe, + happy

, so if you want a hand, we would love to look after your fur baby over the holidays (or anytime when needed, I’m pretty flexible!). From walking your pup, playtime, car trips to the local parks & beaches, or even spending time with them just chilling on the couch, there's nothing more I love to do than caring for them. I treat all dogs that stay with us as our own, and are well versed in all things Frenchie in terms of their diet, care and keeping them safe. While you are away I will also be posting updates on your pup on this page & in messages in needed, I am also experienced in providing medication, special feeding / dietary requirements and will give your pup baths ( only if needed of course!)

We only take on at most 2 dogs at a time to be able to give them the attention and care they need. We live in Western Springs, Auckland (about 5 minutes from the St Lukes off ramp) with our two school aged children and our 9 year old Boston Terrier Bo, who's very friendly and super loving. I also work from home running my own pottery studio, so have ample time for play (and cuddles!) with your pup. Our garden is also fully fenced with a lawn for them + shade to nap the day away, I will not leave them outside unattended, so they will be my buddy throughout the day! I've grown up around dogs my whole life (we always had 2 or 3 dogs both large & small when I was a child) and have always been particularly intuitive in knowing how a dog is feeling. I've also cared for a number of dogs in the past as well and they've all been more than happy staying with us. Look forward to meeting you and your fur babies :)
