🐾 EVIE — LOOKING FOR HER FOREVER HOME

Meet Evie, a gorgeous 2-year-old female Shar-Pei cross with a compact small-to-medium build and a huge personality. ❤️

Evie is affectionate, intelligent, energetic and very people-focused. She loves walks, adventures, car rides, attention and being close to her person. She has come a long way from a difficult beginning and is now a loving, outgoing girl.

Evie is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped, and has been treated for worms and fleas.

She has lived around dogs, cats, rabbits and chickens, but because she can become excited or uncertain, interactions with other animals need appropriate supervision and controlled introductions.

Evie can also become protective of her person and overstimulated. New people should be introduced calmly and gradually. She may nip if startled or uncomfortable, so she is not suitable for a home with young children.

Commands: Come,Sit, Go to bed, Dont touch, Go on the car/park.

Her ideal person will understand her energy and anxiety, continue her training, provide plenty of exercise and enrichment, and give her the affection and security she loves.

Adoption fee: $350

A meet & greet and adoption approval are required before Evie goes to her new home.

We’re excited to share some great news with our Auckland whānau! 🐶

Mangere Bridge Vet Clinic currently has FREE desexing spaces available for dogs from across Auckland.

If you’ve been wanting to get your dog desexed but the cost has been holding you back, this could be a wonderful opportunity. 💜

Fill in an application form at the clinic to apply for one of the available appointments.

⚠️ Please don’t phone the clinic regarding the free desexing programme. Applications need to be made in person.

Spaces are limited, so we encourage dog owners who need this support to head in and apply as soon as possible. 🐕💨

Every dog that is desexed can make a difference. It helps prevent accidental litters, reduces the number of unwanted puppies needing homes, and supports the work being done across Auckland to reduce roaming and unowned dogs. 🐾🏡

For rescues like ours, prevention is incredibly important. We see how quickly one unexpected litter can become many animals needing homes, veterinary care and rescue support.

🐰 SOUTH ISLAND BUNNY FRIEND NEEDED FOR TEDDY🐰

Five-year-old mini lop Teddy recently lost his beloved sister, Star. They were inseparable, and his family are worried he may become lonely without a rabbit companion. 💔🌈

Teddy lives with his loving family in **Albert Town, Wānaka**, and they are looking for:

🐇 A friendly female rabbit
✅ Desexed
✅ Vaccinated
🏡 Comfortable living outdoors throughout the year
📍 Preferably located in Otago, Southland or elsewhere in the South Island

Teddy is the gorgeous bunny with the brown spots in the photos. His family can provide pictures and further information about his outdoor setup.

Any introduction would need to be gradual and carefully supervised to ensure Teddy and his new friend are compatible.
