Very unlike me.
So hereā€™s a few pics from his first week with us.
Ed is a stunning Warmblood gelding by Wyoming.
Edā€™s here to tick over a few more miles under saddle and get some more life experience.

I donā€™t think Iā€™m in line for a job taking sales photos for the 2027 yearling sales BUT I do think these 3 pre trainers heading off this morning are looking very well !

The reality of young horsesā€¦.
Sunday morning I text my sis and said hey Iā€™m going to the beach do you want to ride Sadie?! Of course she jumped at the chance after having such a fab ride on her around the track the weekend before.
As you have all seen on FB Sadie has been a darling to bring back into work, taking on any task asked of her.
Well on Sunday morning my sis hopped on off the ramp and moved aside so I could climb on my steed. Approximately 30 seconds after my bum hit my saddle my sisters butt hit the sandā€¦.Sadie had bucked her off! šŸ˜±šŸ„“
Long story shortā€¦I jumped on and kicked her around and my sis(Lisa) bravely jumped back on and rode her (gingerly ) up the beach (pic of ride )
Why am I writing this post? Because I think more people need to understand that this is the reality of a young horse. The process of educating a young horse doesnā€™t end after 6 weeks at the breakers guys, it takes timeā€¦.months, years. So please realise if you own and plan to educate your young horse that there will be hurdles and there doesnā€™t need to be anybody to blame.
Those wondering about Sadieā€¦.well she happily jumped all the logs down the beach today without a care in the world. Lisa ā€¦.probably wouldnā€™t appreciate me sharing the bruise she got on her butt all over fb šŸ¤£ but her humour is still intact
