The TOSCA AGM is to be held on Sunday 7th June 2026 at 09:00am
at The Brigham, 164 Brigham Creek Road, Whenuapai, Auckland.

Ruby will be having a quiet Sunday on the couch but hopes that all the Chanarong family will head to the Kumeu Community Centre to see Tink, Daisy, Flynn (Bluey) and her son Arty (Bandit) strutting their stuff at the April Auckland Cat Club show.

TOSCA will also be having a stall with show sets, cat beds, cat toys, jams and baked goodies to raise money for their upcoming show in June.

Not to be overlooked at today's show were the other Chanarong cats owned by Jane and Fiona.
The cats did brilliantly and were consistently placed.

Reserve Best in show SH and 3rd in AB
Ring 3 Roy Griffiths:
Best in Show in SH and Reserve Best in Show in AB as well as the Breeders Award of Merit.

Teddy (Fire Meet Gasoline)
Ring 1: Best in Show in SH and Best in Show in AB as well as the Breeders Award of Merit.
Ring 2: 3rd in SH and 4th in AB as well the Breeders Award of Merit
Ring 3: Reserve Best in Show in SH and 3rd in AB

Z**i (Zeddfor Zanzibar)
Ring 1: 4th in SH and 5th in AB
Ring 2: 4th in SH and 5th in AB
Ring 3: 3rd in SH and 4th in AB

Today lots of the Chanarong cats and kittens went to the Catz Incorporated April show. There was a great representation there for what was a very successful show.
Freya and her three kittens were on display and also to see Freya's Australian mum Nikki James. It was wonderful to be able to catch up and for Nikki to meet the latest kittens.
Tink was also there with two of her kittens but was there to show.
Unfortunately, a close chewed encounter with a rubber band put paid to Bebe's show debut but he came along for moral support.
Tink (I Am Titanium) did very well and came away with:
Ring 1 Nikki James:
Best in show shorthair and best in show All breeds as well as a Breeders Award of Merit for me.
Ring 2 Sue Ford:
5th place in SH and 8th in All breeds
Ring 3 Roy Griffiths:
Reserve best in show SH and Reserve best in show All breeds.

Izzy (Kiss Me, Miss Me) (now owned by Jenny Thomsen and called Missy) and the only girl in the two litters as well as the only Siamese made her show debut.
Ring 1: 7th in SH and 10th in AB
Ring 2: 3rd in SH and 3rd in AB and a Breeders Award of Merit
Ring 3: 5th in SH and ? in AB

Daisy (Walking In Light) also represented Chanarong in the Entire Cat section alongside her half-sister Tink.
Ring 1: 6th in SH and 10th in AB
Ring 2: Reserve Best in Show in SH and 3rd in AB and a Breeders Award of Merit. Sue also awarded Daisy with her Judges Choice rosette!
Ring 3: Best in Show in SH and Best in Show in AB
I am so impressed with this wee girl and how she is coming along.

Also at the Metro CC Show on Saturday will be “the boys” vying for their challenges to become Premiers.
Come along and cheer on the “Orange Octopus” and Arty in the Desexed Cat section.

Daisy, Dice, Z**i, Tash and Teddy will be strutting their stuff at the first Catz Inc show for the year. It would be lovely to see some of the Chanarong family there to cheer them on!

Boy 2: Blue lynx (tabby) bi-colour
Boy 3: Ebony Lynx (tabby)
Mum and kitts are doing well.
