Chanarong Orientals and Siamese

16/10/2026

Early morning farewell for Paddy (Chanarong Irish Exit) who is flying to his new home with Tamina and aunty Lulu (Chanarong Fionnuala of Athelstan).
Lots of tears, but I know he will be well loved and taken care of.

Come see the Chanarong kits in the very last show of the season -woo hoo. Fitting that it’s a zombie show as for many of us it’s been a very long season and both humans and cats are in need of a break.
Tink 🧚 Daisy 🌼 and Paddy ☘️ look forward seeing everyone.

Saturday 12 Sept saw the last NZCF show of the year for the Chanarong clan, and everyone did incredibly well.

Thank you to Blackhawk for the sponsorship and sample food. The “boys” who stayed home truly appreciate all their food and will be munching their way through it for a while. ❤️
Thank you also for the Daisy photos 🌼

Thank you to the Aby and Somali CC for a good day and an early finish, and Kenzicat photography (Alison) for the wonderful photos.

Huge thank you to Fiona and Bria for presenting the kitts so well. 🖤. 🤍🖤. 💙🤍. 🧡🤍

Chanarong will have five cats and two kittens attending the final NZCF show of the year.
Come and see the kitty clan before they head for their holidays.

Chanarong have all their fingers and toes crossed for another litter from Freya (Zoel Fire And Ice) and Bruno (Tasanee Ticks All The Boxes) but this time with some girls in the litter! A tortie or two like mum would be great.
It is early days yet as Freya likes to treat them mean and keep them keen but hopefully there might be kittens from early November.

Some fabulous photos of the cats at the show yesterday.
Before looking in the corner for the cat code of T for Twigs or P for Paddy, try and guess which cat is which.
Even I got it wrong a couple of times. 🤣
Stunning photos of Tink and Daisy as well. 💙. 🧡🤍🖤

Fantastically early finish to the Catz Inc Star Wars Show, home and unpacked by 2:45pm. Thank you ☺️
I got volunteered (told) into clerking, which was my first time so there are only a few photos from the very end. Hopefully, Alison and Colleen will come to my rescue.

I took three Chanarong kitts down to show, with Freya coming as well so she could go home with Bruno. 🧡🤍🖤 ❤️‍🔥 🖤🤎🤍

All three did really well, although Tink and Daisy were a little out of sorts for the first ring.

Paddy (KW Chanarong Irish Exit) was the only desexed kitten so unsurprisingly did very well. He got Best in Show in the Shorthair section and Best in Show in the All breeds section from all three judges, as well as three Breeders Awards.
He missed his brother Zarco providing competition but got to hang out with “mega me” Twiglet.
