Hi Dog Manners fam 💛
As I am sure lots of you have seen already, there are more false narratives going around social media. As I’m sure a lot of you remember when we addressed this awhile ago (link in comments to that post for the full explanation) we are just here to acknowledge what is being shared. As mentioned in the prior post over a year ago, this is still going through the court process and we are following legal advice regarding these new posts.
Sadly, a few weeks ago a dog passed away at the vets after being rushed from our facility after a dog fight during daycare. This was a tragic accident. We have promptly followed all appropriate procedures. Out of respect for the family, we will not be sharing more information publicly but regarding any questions or concerns we encourage you to reach out privately to us.
Please note the serious allegations that are being stated, are things the police and SPCA take very seriously. Sadly the information regarding the incident has been obtained by the people, who themselves state, due to personal vendettas against the owner, they have been trying to take Dog Manners down for years. If there was an ounce of truth to these statements Dog Manners would no longer be an operating service.
Social media is a wonderful thing, but like anything in the wrong hands it can be very dangerous. Social media can be manipulated when you have the power to stand behind a screen and post statements without evidence, comment under anonymous and delete all comments that prove you are not telling the truth. There have been several threats that this will also be taken to the media - and we all know the media doesn’t rely on full truths and a shocking story of allegations sells, true or not.
We appreciate the messages we have recieved from our clients who have already seen these posts, and have sent us love and support.
We respect any decision you make with your dogs and where you send them, and that will never change whatever you decide to do.
We know some clients are being messaged directly, and we apologise for any distress this has caused. Sadly we cannot control other people, we can only ensure we personally move with nothing but love, honesty and kindness 🫶
