🖤🩷🤍 BIRTHDAY GIRL ANNOUNCEMENT! 🤍🩷🖤

Lala is 7 today! ✨️
This squidgy ball of gorgeousness is a real sweetheart, who deserves all the special attention. She is the matriarch of her feline siblings, so I hope she has the most spoilt celebrations! 🎈

☆ ASTIN TURNED TEN! ☆

This gorgeous boy celebrated his double-digit big day yesterday, and he really is the star of the show for the whole weekend! It was lovely seeing you and I brought along your bestie Walter, for an extra surprise!

All my pups and puddytats get a new name or 2 or 3 when I'm with them. I can't help it. Sorry, not sorry. (They especially love it when I call them in a high-pitched squeaky voice or sing right at them.)

🌸🐾 HELLO OCTOBER! 🐾🌸

Spring has officially sprung here in NZ, and I can’t believe we’re already into October!

September was another wonderfully busy month at Pets And Plants. It was very much the month of the doggy brothers and sisters, with some very special new recruits joining the P And P family, along with some much loved familiar faces returning for another stay!

First up were my crazy boys, George & Ted.
These gorgeous brothers take their job of protecting their second home VERY seriously! 🥷🏻🥷🏻 There was plenty of protective barking, important perimeter patrols and hilarious shenanigans...
George loves nothing more than dozing on my chest with his little head tucked under my chin, and Ted is my ultimate teddybear boy, who HAS to sleep with at least one paw touching me all night! ♡

Welcome Sasha! 🐱
My new pretty 12 year old tabby recruit was so excited to see me each visit! We spent sunny mornings soaking up the rays and playing on her deck, and evenings enjoying cuddles and treats. The perfect way to start and finish a day!

Then there was Rose.
Another new member of the crew is the stunning 20-year-old Bengal, Rose!! 👑 Those gorgeous eyes completely took my breath away! It was such an honour to be her lady-in-waiting for a few days. Isn't she regal?

Coco and Jessie, my regular little returnees. 🤍🤍 My two real-life stuffed toys with the teeniest, warmest, squidgiest bodies! I absolutely adore these girls. There is something very special about watching a dog arrive at your house already knowing they're home.

And finishing off my feline frequenters! Dougie gives the BEST purry cuddles, while Maisie is part cat, part capuchin monkey and makes me laugh every single time I visit! I love you both so much! 🤎🤎

A huge thank you to all of my special clients for trusting me with your precious fur fluffs. It really is such a privilege to be welcomed into their little worlds and to give them plenty of love, cuddles, company and care while you're away.

Here's to October - longer days, spring sunshine and more adventures with Auntie Sonya! 🌞 🫶🏼

🎉 HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY, JAX! 🎉

One whole year today of this handsome little hooligan! 💙🐾

I’ve had the pleasure of looking after Jax when he was a gangly puppy, and WOW… he’s grown into one seriously gorgeous boy with enough whirlwind energy to power the entire neighbourhood! 🤣💨

He also has the sweetest adventure that's just begun… becoming a big brother to his new little human! 👶🏼 He's going to make the best one.

Happy 1st birthday Jaxsy!
Keep being your wonderfully wild, bouncy self!
We love you! 🦴

☆ SNOOPY TURNED 4!! ☆
Happy happy birthday to this ball of mischief who upped a year last week! He's only stayed for a short while but we're glad he's a member of our Pets And Plants family. Hope you had a pawsome day, gorgeousness! 🍖🎉

♡ DAISY TURNED 5!! ♡
This sweet little dolly celebrated her big day yesterday! She deserves alllll the treats and back scratches possible, every single day just for being her! See you again for more Auntie pampering one day soon... 🎀 🎊

Please cheer and raise the woof for these special pups!

🎉 HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY TO MONTY! 🥳

Two years old today… and STILL absolutely no sign of him growing up! 😂

He may be bigger, wiser and technically an adult… but he’s still 100% convinced that every meal is his, every sofa belongs to him and every human was put on this earth to provide belly scratches!
Would we have him any other way? Absolutely not. 🧡

Happy 2nd birthday, you gorgeous little boy! 🐾 Here’s to another year of mischief, mayhem and making us laugh every time you stay! 🎈 xx

Hello September! 🌸 Spring has arrived and with it comes longer days, warmer weather and another month of pawsome pet-sitting adventures!

Cool dude 'Rocket Man' Elton (check out that epic winter coat 😎) sadly went home after his stay from end of July to the start of August... until next time sweet boy!

We have a new member of the Pets and Plants family! Peaches 🍑 is THE cutest little big kitten who was a pleasure to come in and look after... he loved his tummy rubs, and he was SO proud to show me around his garden!

Then along came Daisy. Another new recruit to the pack! If there is ever a more photogenic girl... 🎀 I think she could easily be on the cover of Dogue. A real sweetheart who loved to cuddle and had the best first time board with us here! Can't wait to have you back Daisy-Doo!

Roxy returned!! 🤎 She's one of our long-term regular pups and knows the house inside out. She races in and is always so happy to be back! I love getting my Roxy fix in when she stays. Already counting down until next time!

Another frequent fluffypup to finish our month off!
🐻 Paddington (Paddy) is also a returnee, but this was his first time sleeping over! He's usually a daycare doggy so his week with us was SO MUCH FUN!!!! He's the funniest little Spoodle who has his crazy moments but is also Auntie's clingy boy... he doesn't let me out of his sight and has to snooze with at least one body part on me at all times. 🥰 I love it.

It's been a whirlwind of an August but I wouldn't have it any other way! New clients are so welcome and I love seeing these faces each time. One day I'll win the Lotto, buy a mansion on 100 acres and ALL of my (your) pups can come whenever they like!! 🤗
Thank you for your patience while my bookings are solid, if you need any remaining 2026 or 2027 dates have a look at my recent Available Dates posts and just shout over!
