Starting RawPetFoodExpress was a passion project from the love of our dogs to wanting to provide the same essential nutrition to other dogs and education to their families

Our ethos is simple quality products, NZ made, supporting rescues was a big wish list for us too

Our dogs, your dogs, are lucky they have their parents buying RawPetFoodExpress food and giving them loving homes

Rescues are run by good people trying their hardest to help vulnerable animals in need
BUT they need everyone’s help to keep them doing what they do

We’re super proud that we are able with the support of our customers supply them with the best diet RAW

For being your amazing selfless selves loving, cleaning, taking care of us 💛, picking up our p**p, feeding us, sharing your beds with us, loving our window art 👅, training us, walking in the rain to let us toilet and play, knowing what each bark or meow means ❤️, staying in to keep us company - cause after all that’s the best had Saturday night ❤️

Safety for our dogs is really important to us - from what’s in their bowl, protective gear they wear, toys, & their beds

Having numerous fosters and our own dogs their beds are important for relaxing, decompressing & feeling cozy + safe

We have two senior dogs now plus one who was born with elbow displacia

So support has been a key component in choosing their beds

But you come to realise that it’s from the onset that’s the key not when there’s issues

Man we’ve spent money on beds.
Third wash & they’re flat, filling moves & no plumpness is there any longer - such a waste!
I even stacked two beds on top covered in a fitted sheet to gain more support 🫣

So when our friends told us they were designing a bed like no other, we had to take a look

Firstly; I love kiwi family businesses

I love the thought that goes behind creating something that works - not a fly by night product

Secondly;
They are pricier than some BUT if I add up what I’ve spent in the last 3 years we’ve paid way more than 2 of their beds
These are an investment - we don’t sleep on a s #%* support mattress & I don’t expect my dogs to either
They are durable, firm yet cosy, easy to wash
You can see why they stand by their product to last the distance

Thirdly;
They’re non toxic - others aren’t.
This is a big one for us because we do the upmost to feed & apply only the best to our dogs, bedding should be carefully considered as part
of this too

Interesting fact; Dr J Sprott a well known forensic psychologist, was passionate about developing a solution to baby’s cot death
His research showed the main cause of this was fumes leaked from mattresses - so he developed a simple mattress protector that prevented this from effecting babies
Sold now online & in baby stores

I personally witnessed a friends child being positively affected by the use of this mattress protector, after having numerous stop breathing episodes as an infant
Once put over his mattress the breathing issue stopped - imagine the relief of those parents

Ok so babies & dogs well if I had a baby I’d immediately apply one of these mattress protectors
So why am I not thinking the same safety for my dogs!

We have so many fantastic selfless rescues that do such amazing selfless work

And a lot of wonderful humans that do so much to support them in so many ways -

Paws - Restart are an amazing bunch of people that do so much not just for their rescue but for others too
