With the warning of severe weather on its way, here are a few tips to remember to keep your furry friends safe 🐱🐶🐰

🐾 Bring them indoors early. Go for a final walk before the worst of the weather hits and bring your pet inside to reduce the risk of them bolting if spooked

🐾 Ensure all collars are on with ID tags, that they’re microchipped, registered and that your details are up to date

🐾 Create a calm, secure space. Set up a cozy area with their bed, toys, and blankets to help reduce stress during loud winds or thunder.

🐾 Chat to our team about calming pheromones or anti anxiety medication if needed

🐾 Ensure you are stocked up on food, medication, water and have a lead or a carry cage handy incase needed.

FOUND CAT 🐱

This friendly very cute neutered male has been hanging around a house in Royal Heights, a member of the public brought him in to scan his microchip - he has one but unfortunately it is not registered on NZCAR.

If he belongs to you or you know where he lives please give us a call at 09 416 2277 or email us at [email protected] and we can put you in touch with the member of public - he is not at our clinic currently.
