👩‍⚕️🚜 Rhiannon and Lucy have been busy out on farm calls lately!

Recently, they were called out to assess and treat several cases of eye cancer in cattle. Early detection is key with conditions like this, as prompt treatment can make a significant difference to animal comfort and outcomes.

If you notice any abnormalities around the eyes—such as growths, cloudiness, or discharge—don’t hesitate to get in touch with the team.

🌟 Meet the Team – Vet Tech Lucy 🌟

Introducing Lucy Horn, our large animal Vet Tech. Lucy has a strong rural background, having grown up on a mixed farm in the UK and spending the past 10 years working on farms here in Canterbury.

Her favourite part of the job is the variety of animals she gets to work with — from dairy cattle and sheep to even horses.

Outside of work, Lucy is a keen member of the Dunsandel Young Farmers and enjoys surfing and Pilates. 🌊🐄🐑
