Ahipara Horse Treks Guided horse treks on the stunning 90 Mile Beach, New Zealand Experience the unique 90 Mile Beach on horse back!

Ahipara Horse Treks operate all year round for bookings, we provide 1 and 2 hour treks along one of NZ's most beautiful beaches along with gentle grasslands and ocean riding where practical. Our horses are safe and suitable for all ages and riding abilities, you will enjoy riding along the beach with our friendly and experienced guides! Customised treks are also available and can include:
- shorter treks for small children
- longer, more challenging day rides (experience is necessary)

Prices as follows:
Children's paddock ride $25 for 15 minutes
Children/adult lessons $50 for 45 minutes
1 hour beach ride $90 per rider
2 hour beach ride $140 per rider
Experienced ride, allow 3 hours - beach, dune and forest ride $175 per rider
Sunset evening ride $150 per rider

Beautiful day on the beach today taking this whanau out. There were smiles all round and by the end of the ride the two boys, who were a little nervous to begin with, said they now wanted a horse of their own 🤣 Not sure it dad was too keen on that request.

We are so lucky - 5th day in a row out there without horrible wind, only stunning sunshine 🤩🐴

Charlie and Taika came out today as well - we love horses that act like they went out yesterday even though they haven’t been out in ages 👍🏻

Today we were joined by a lovely couple from Christchurch 🐴

Amy grew up doing plenty of riding, but these days she doesn’t get in the saddle too often, so she admitted she was feeling a little nervous to start with.

Dude soon sorted that out 😂 Before long the nerves were gone and she was happily cantering along the beach.
