Homesick for a dog I will never see in my life again.

133 days without 🩵Renzo🩵

Just memories remain now and luckily we have many of those.

We spent his first 2.5 years alone as a single-dog household.
We had so many adventures together.
We walked so many kilometres.
We met so many new (dog) friends.
We learnt so many new things.
We had so many cuddles.
We had so much playtime with his ball.
And small fights to get the ball back. Oh, did he LOVE his ball!

After we found out he had hemangiosarcoma a year ago. It was the hardest year of my life.

We managed to rehab him after his emergency splenectomy. We managed to keep him fit and full of energy and life for another 8 months. Which was remarkable.

Two bleedings because of the hemangiosarcoma within 2 days eventually took him away from us.

My heart was shattered and it still is 💔

People say that time will heal, but it doesn’t.
It still hurts like it happened yesterday.

People say it comes and goes in waves. It does.
Every single day there are waves coming and going.

People say I am lucky, I still have 5 other beagles. Yes, but it’s not the same. No other dog can replace him.

Tomorrow is his first birthday without him.

No steak and broccoli for his birthday. No special treatment.

Just memories. And a lot of tears.

Our sweetest, cutest forever puppy Baby 💝Morgan💝 is turning 3 today!

Born to be a farm girl, absolutely in love with cuddles & massages and happiest sitting on our laps (any lap 🙈).
A pro in fitness and a fitness demo dog, she’s become an example to many 💪

But most of all… she is our sweetest little Baby 🥹

Happy birthday, sweet Baby 💝Morgan💝! 😘

What would you do with a FlowRocker? 🤔

We use it for more than just standing on a moving surface.

The FlowRocker lets us create unexpected, dynamic movement that asks the dog to continuously adjust and control their body.

Think:
* Catching treats while balancing
* Twists & turns
* Dynamic position changes
* Moving off and onto the rocker from different angles

This challenges:
Proprioception • Balance • Stabilisation • Coordination

Because the movement is constantly changing, your dog has to react, adapt and find stability in motion.

I finally did a photoshoot with 💚Tirza💚

The heather was in full bloom, covered in purple. It was such a beautiful evening and we had so much fun together.

Looking at the photos makes me realize once again how quickly time goes. 💚Tirza💚 will turn 8 in December, which means she’ll soon be considered a senior too🥹

And suddenly that face of hers, slowly turning white…
She is still the same though. Always glued to my thighs, completely focused on me, checking where I am and what I’m doing. My little shadow.

Thank you, Judith Prins Fotografie for once again capturing these precious moments so beautifully.

Now all my girls have had their own photoshoot and I have beautiful memories of each of them. It’s something I wish I had done sooner.

I take so many photos and videos myself and those will always capture our everyday life. But professional photos just hit different.
