Teddy is a modern sporthorse as both his parents are Star Friesians and bred for the highest quality and an outstanding character. For all riders of all ages, truly bomb proof!
He has proven to be exceptionally brave, willing, and easy to ride from the very beginning.
Teddy has the talent, mindset, and work ethic for upper-level dressage, with clear potential toward Grand Prix, while also being the kind of horse that would suit a serious amateur looking for quality, rideability, and reliability.
He shows a modern way of going with a super fancy expressive trot, a ground-covering, correct walk, and a smooth balanced canter that is very comfortable to sit. He is light to the aids, learns quickly, and always tries to please.
Teddy is by the outstanding stallion Tiede 501, known for his modern sport type, rideability, and strong performances in the KFPS sport tests and competitions. His dam line is by Take 455, a highly respected sire recognized for producing horses with excellent movement quality, power, and durability, with multiple offspring successfully competing at higher levels of dressage.
He is ready to be taken over immediately, but I am also happy to continue his training for the new owner and support him through his first competitions.
This is my first Friesian that I have had in a big line of Dutch sporthorses and I truly enjoyed the process. The reason for sale is simply that my focus is on the several young horses ready to be started and sold. Teddy deserves a long-term, loving forever home.
