Spotted in the Dutch Sport Horse Sales 2026: our Passadana LVL (Carrera VDL x Emilion). A 6-year old mare with the scope, blood and mentality that you want. Sired by Grand Prix stallion Carrera VDL, whose offspring includes the likes of Carabella vd Neyen Z, Mister Jup and Komboy.

A World Championship full of inspiration ✨

Last week in Aachen, Glamourdale was crowned World Champion once again, while several crossbreds showed their quality on the world stage, including Hit Plus in the Grand Prix Special.

For us at Raio de Luz, it was especially inspiring to see bloodlines represented that are also part of our own breeding programme. Marques dos Cedros, who competed in the Grand Prix, is a son of Disturbio. At home, we breed with Disturbio daughter Indiana.

And then there is Glamourdale. Our Rembrandt de Luz is a Glamourdale x Disturbio, bringing together both of these World Championship bloodlines. This year, we also welcomed Wembley de Luz, another foal by the newly crowned World Champion.

A lovely reminder that the bloodlines and crosses we believe in can lead all the way to the world stage.

Raio de Luz means Ray of Light in Portuguese. ✨

A name that began with the light we hoped to bring to our horses, and grew into a reminder of everything they have given us in return. Because every horse teaches us something new 🫶🏻
