Vanmiddag een bezoekje gebracht aan Jessie, het door mij gefokte poesje waar ik onlangs de herplaatsoproep voor deed.
Jessie is 17,5 jaar en haar vorige baasje is zwaar dement en kon dus niet meer voor haar zorgen. Al heel snel kreeg ik een bericht van een dame hier in Lisse die Jessie graag wilde “hebben” om in de herfst van Jessie’s leven haar nog een aantal mooie jaren te geven.
Ze woont nu dus vlakbij en hoe leuk is het dan om haar weer te zien na al die tijd?!
Mijn dank is groot Mieke dat je Jessie een prachtig nieuw thuis hebt gegeven ❤️🙏

Update:
Jessie heeft een fijn nieuw thuis gevonden 😻

Ik ben op zoek naar een nieuw blijvend thuis voor een bruin Burmees poesje, een fokje van mij.
Haar naam is Choc ‘n’ Sable’s Jezebel, roepnaam Jessie.
Jessie is geboren op 7-1-2009 en woont sinds ze twee jaar was bij een dame die helaas inmiddels zwaar dement is en niet meer voor Jessie kan zorgen.
Jessie is dus al 17,5 jaar, momenteel woont ze tijdelijk bij de buurvrouw en haar kat en dat gaat goed, maar die wil haar niet houden 😔

Jessie is een makkelijke lieve poes.
Wie kan haar een nieuw thuis bieden in de laatste jaren van haar leven?

Now this is what F2 outcross Burmese looks like: part two.

Meet Choc ‘n’ Sable’s Thong Chai (brown) and Tai Mau (chocolate mink), two boys from my most recent litter.
F2 in this case means: 3 grandparents are Burmese, 1 is Thai (traditional Siamese).
I’ve tested their sister Toetie at MyCatDNA and she came out with 27% genetic diversity! Bearing in mind that the average purebred Burmese has a diversity as low as 21%, one of the lowest in all cat breeds, this F2 litter is scoring a lot better! ❤️

My beautiful girl Lily got her last CAGCIB certificate today at the Felikat show in de Lier, so as of today she’s a Grand International Champion.
It’s been a long time since I bred my own GIC. So it’s nice to have one again ❤️
Next and final stop: Supreme Champion 😊🤞

My beautiful boy Tai Mau (or Sprüngli as his new mum and dad call him) is visiting his family here at casa Choc ‘n’ Sable’s to get reacquainted with his former girlfriend Brownie.
After some serious growling and hissing from Brownie’s side, she’s learned again how sweet our boy is ❤️
But not only sweet, also quite persistent 😜
Can’t say I’ve seen him finish the job correctly, but one never knows, I might have missed something 😏
