Not every horse needs to be described as the next superstar.
A good match starts with knowing what a horse genuinely does well, where it still needs work and what type of rider will get the best out of it. That's useful information for an owner and even more important when the horse is for sale.

Putting a horse up for sale is the easy part. Preparing it properly for the market takes more thought.
Which level shows the horse at its best? What kind of rider does it suit? Does it need more results first, or is this exactly the right moment to sell?
Those decisions can make a big difference to both the sale and the horse's next home.

Considering selling your horse? Let's first work out what route gives it the best chance on the market 📩

One horse may improve from jumping a little more often. Another gets better from doing less of it.
Some need strength, some need confidence, some need mileage and sometimes the best training day is simply an easy ride. That's why two horses in the same stable rarely need exactly the same week.

Looking for a training program built around your horse rather than a fixed routine? We'd be happy to discuss the possibilities. 📩

Height is only one part of moving up.
The canter has to be adjustable, the horse needs enough experience to solve a difficult distance and it still needs to listen when the atmosphere changes. When those pieces start coming together, the bigger fences are often the easiest part.

Not sure what the right next step is for your horse? Let's talk about where it is now and where you want to go 📩

Moving up a class is easy. Being ready for it is something different.
We would rather spend an extra few rounds making something feel easy than move up because the calendar says we should.
There will always be another show.

Horse decisions often don't need five people and three days of messages in between.

A quick video, a phone call or a message is usually enough to decide whether we enter another class, give the horse an easier week or change the plan altogether.

Direct communication keeps things simple.

Good news is easy to share. The useful conversations are often about everything in between.

A training session that raises a question, a show that tells us we're not quite ready for the next step, or a horse that suddenly makes a big improvement. Owners should know about all of it, not just see the polished moments on competition day.

With young horses, we're not only training for what they need to do today. We're preparing them for what will be expected of them later.
Travelling, warm-up arenas, different fences, waiting between classes and learning to stay rideable away from home are all part of their education.

The training plan might say one thing. The horse underneath you might say another.
Knowing when to ask a little more and when to leave something for tomorrow is part of the job. Progress doesn't always come from doing more.

You can learn a lot about a horse from the first ride. You learn much more by working with it for a few weeks.
That first month gives us time to see the horse at home, over fences and in its daily routine before deciding what the next months should look like.
Sometimes the original plan stays. Sometimes the horse tells us to change it.
