I feel incredibly happy and honored! ❤️

I was a bit behind on opening my mail, but this evening I finally found the list, and to my surprise, this was in it.

I was deeply disappointed in Staufenberg when my Tedje was lame. I even asked the jury why he hadn’t been disqualified, because I personally believe that when a dog is lame, it simply means they’re having an off day, and we have to accept that. The jury explained their reasoning to me, and honestly, I do understand and respect it. I would also have accepted a DQ, and the people who truly know me know that as well.

Because Tedje was lame, we decided at the last minute to enter our Glock’s Toto in the breeders class instead, and he took first place! 🏆 Since he is still just a baby, and I don’t want to speak too soon, I won’t make any big statements about his future yet. But I am beyond grateful for this recognition, and it genuinely brought tears of joy to my eyes.

Of course, I hope to breed even more amazing dogs in the future, but no one could ever replace my Tedje. My Ted , the one who carried me through when I needed strength the most 💪🏽
