It’s officially here! The pre-sale of our Ride Without Fear course is now LIVE. 🎉

You don't have to be ashamed to be a "nervous Nellie", there are a lot of riders out there struggling with fear, worry, and anxiety.

But here is the reality: that internal fear projects directly onto your horse. You might have all the technical skills in the world, but if your mind and your fear are holding you back, your body won't do what it needs to do.

This is a complete, step-by-step program specifically designed to help you conquer your insecurities, calm your mind, and become a truly confident mentor for your horse.

Your fear is not a confidence problem.

We hear it all the time when rebuilding trust in the saddle… but what does it actually mean?

It means your fear isn't weakness, it's just your nervous system doing the job it was built for. Pushing through with tight jaws and forced bravery doesn't speak its language.

True recovery is about learning to listen to your body and creating a safe, graded path back to the saddle.
The conversation with your horse starts long before you even pick up the reins.

In our new collaboration with licensed therapist Kristi Seymour, we break down the clinical science behind rider anxiety and give you the tools to ride with trust again.

60% of horses have bitting injuries?! 😱

I want to delve into a crucial aspect of horse welfare that demands our attention: bitting injuries.

A while ago, I recorded an episode with Wouter Demey, a veterinarian and specialist in equine dentistry.

We talked about a lot of interesting topics, but this one stayed on top of my mind lately.

Wouter talked about the fact that in the equestrian world, we often face challenges due to a lack of knowledge and scientific understanding.

However, one area that has undergone significant study is the prevalence of bitting injuries from horses all over the world.

Whether we're looking at dressage horses, racehorses, or others, the results are surprisingly similar.

Horses that are ridden more than three times a week, over 60% of them show bitting injuries. Not all are severe, but the numbers are concerning.

This revelation shocked me.

It's really important within the equestrian community that we are open to this and want to improve this.

Fortunately, Wouter also spoke about the fact that it's not difficult to get rid of at least 30% or 40% of those bitting injuries just by correctly checking the oral cavity, adjusting the bit, and training the riders.

So let's all pay attention to this important matter of animal welfare.

Can you be worried or afraid when you're with your horse, like Sally in this video?

I used to know riders who could tell me, in full detail, about a fall from ten years ago.

Where they were. What the horse did. What the trainer said.

And every time they told it, I could see their shoulders climb a little higher.

Most riders don't realise it's not the event that creates the fear reflex in your body. It's the story you tell yourself about the event.

The fall happened once.

But every time you replay the story, your body rehearses the same response. The tight jaw. The shallow breath. The bracing in the seat. The pulling on the rein.

Your nervous system doesn't know the difference between remembering and rehearsing. It just prepares, again and again, for the thing you're describing.

You can't change what happened. But you can stop telling the story!

And when you stop telling the old one, you make room to write a new one.

What story are you still telling yourself? 👇

''I hope it goes well this time...'' 🤞

We all know that feeling. You’re on your way to the stable, but instead of looking forward to it, you feel a slight knot in your stomach. Last time wasn't so good. What if they spook today? What if I lose control?

Insecurity or fear after an incident can completely steal the joy from your riding. You get trapped in your own nerves, and your horse feels it instantly.

But you don’t have to stay stuck in that cycle. Together with expert Kristi Seymour, we’ve gathered tools to help you take control of your own physiology, manage your nerves, and rebuild your confidence in the saddle.

Ready to get back to enjoying your rides? We’ve got a free workbook waiting for you, packed with practical steps and exercises you can use immediately.

''Be neutral.'' 🤔

We hear it all the time in horse training… but what does it actually mean?

Neutral doesn’t mean switching off or lowering your energy. It’s about awareness, knowing what you’re projecting and allowing your horse space to think for himself.

The conversation with your horse starts long before you pick up the lead rope.

🎙️ In this week’s Q&A Podcast, Tristan explains the meaning behind neutral energy and how understanding yourself creates better communication with your horse.

Are you actually present, or just physically there? 🤔

We’ve all had those days, like Sally in this video.

You’re rushing from work, finishing a call, and your brain is still spinning with to-do lists.

You think you’re there to relax with your horse, but you’ve brought "Sally" with you.

Remember: everything you bring from the outside world reflects on your horse.

If you are thinking about the past or the future, your horse feels that energy.

If he’s spooky or unfocused, ask yourself: "Am I grounded right now?"

Give yourself (and your horse) the advantage of being present. Leave the paperwork at the gate.

Do you have a ritual to switch off your 'work brain' before you start? Share it below! 👇

Some collaborations just make sense.

I've been working with fearful riders for years, giving them tools to train through the freeze, the tension, the predicting the worst.

But there's a piece I've never been able to give them: the understanding of *why* fear lives in the body the way it does.

That's where Kristi Seymour of comes in. Licensed clinical therapist, sports performance coach, lifelong equestrian.

Together, we're building something for riders who are ready to ride without fear.

More to come next week!

In the meantime, Kristi and I put together a free workbook to help you start working through fear today.

Most riders think fear means something is wrong with them.

It doesn't.

It means your nervous system is doing exactly what it was designed to do, protect you.

The problem is that protection mode and good riding can't live in the same body at the same time.

When you freeze, your horse feels it. When you tense, your horse mirrors it. And the cycle keeps repeating.

For years I've been working with riders stuck in this loop. The breakthrough almost never comes from pushing harder.

It comes from understanding what's happening in the body, and learning a new reflex before you ever get in the saddle.

We've put together a free workbook with an expert, for riders, dealing with fear in the saddle.

This is just the start. There's more coming soon!
