We have no words and our hearts are broken

Salomón's health deteriorated very quickly 2 weeks ago, and we had to make the hardest decision and help him gain his wings on Feb 24th.

Salomón, you changed my life. You taught me to love and care for animals, and you made me the crazy cat lady I am.

Señor Gato would not exist without your inspiration, because YOU ARE THE Señor Gato.

I miss you so much, and the house feels so quiet and empty without you waking us up for breakfast, without our daily snuggles, without waking up with your face (or your bum) on my face. Right now I don't know what I'm supposed to do without you, but I'm sure time will tell (and help with this unbearable pain).

Say hello to Allegra from us, and wait for us, my love, my Salomonchis, my gordo, my bebé 🌈.

Furiends, if you want to honor Salomón's memory, please consider donating and/or volunteering at your local shelter, adopt/foster/help a cat in need or just hug your cat (and give them some chicken 🧡)

5 years without that beautiful nose of yours waking me up in the morning. Allegra, you still inspire me to find joy in the little things, to enjoy the winter days and to be a better cat carer. You will always live in my heart. I miss you so much, mi reina 🧡🌈

In these crazy times, and always, we should be ready for anything, and having an emergency kit on hand is a great idea. Keep your animals at home in mind when preparing. Thank you!!

Thank you all deeply for your help. Together, we managed to send precious help to the team on Thassos ( ) and help them continue their work. So many cats have received medical support, neutering, and daily feeding.

Mostly, we got all the strength to keep on trying.
