😺Maak kennis met Nico: een zachtaardige ziel op zoek naar zijn definitieve thuis
📍Momenteel in Amsterdam

Nico is een 3-jarige Arabische Mau met een ontzettend zacht hart en heel veel liefde te geven🐈. Hij werd als kitten gered in de VAE, maar is sindsdien helaas over het hoofd gezien; hij heeft te lang moeten wachten tot iemand zou zien hoe bijzonder hij is .😔 Nu is hij in Nederland, in de hoop een geduldig, liefdevol thuis te vinden waar hij eindelijk thuishoort.💜

Nico is puur geluk: aanhankelijk, speels en vol persoonlijkheid. In het begin is hij misschien een beetje verlegen, maar zodra hij je vertrouwt, kruipt hij lekker op je schoot, likt hij zachtjes je hand en praat hij met je op zijn lieve, spraakzame manier.🥰 Hij is het soort kat dat je schaduw, je vertrouweling en je beste vriend wordt. Hij is een trouwe metgezel die er dol op is om dicht bij zijn baasje te zijn. Hij is speels, lief van aard en bouwt een hechte band op met zijn baasje. Nico is FIV+, wat simpelweg betekent dat hij een zwakker immuunsysteem heeft. Maar met goede voeding, regelmatige dierenartsbezoeken en een stressvrije omgeving leven FIV+-katten een lang, gezond en gelukkig leven, net als elke andere kat. Verder is hij gezond, gecastreerd, ingeënt, gechipt en klaar om zich met gemak in zijn nieuwe thuis te vestigen.🩵

Het perfecte thuis voor Nico:

Hij zou het goed doen in een rustig, liefdevol huis met geduldige, ervaren volwassenen (zonder jonge kinderen) die begrijpen dat vertrouwen tijd kost. Hij past het beste bij alleenstaanden of kinderloze stellen. Ook senioren zijn van harte welkom om zich aan te melden, want hij zou een geweldige match zijn – iemand die zijn zachtaardige karakter waardeert.🫶 💕
Als je op zoek bent naar een trouwe, aanhankelijke metgezel, dan staat Nico klaar om je huis te vullen met warmte en spinnende geluiden. Nico heeft geen perfectie nodig; hij zoekt gewoon iemand die hem de kans wil geven waar hij al zo lang op wacht. ❗️PLEEGGEZIN OF ADOPTIE GEZOCHT 💕

Nico is vorige maand in Nederland aangekomen met veel hoop op een nieuw thuis. Hij is in een pleeggezin geplaatst voor een periode van zes maanden, maar helaas hebben zij niet het geduld of de tijd voor hem. Hij past zich niet goed aan in het huis en moet zo snel mogelijk worden verplaatst.☹️

We zijn op zoek naar een langdurig pleeggezin voor Nico. Hij is een 3 jaar oude Arabische Mau en is FIV+. Hij is een en al vrolijkheid en erg aanhankelijk. In het begin is hij een beetje schuw, maar na verloop van tijd wordt hij je beste vriend.💚 Nico vindt het heerlijk om op je schoot te zitten als hij je eenmaal vertrouwt en hij zal je hand likken. Hij is spraakzaam, dus als je niet van pratende katten houdt, is dit niets voor jou. Hij heeft wat geduld nodig totdat hij gewend is. Het duurt minstens 3-4 weken voordat katten gewend zijn aan een nieuwe plek en Nico heeft veel stress gehad door het vele verhuizen. Hij komt uit de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten en is op zoek naar een definitief thuis, dus adoptie is ook mogelijk. Hij is gezond, speels en erg aanhankelijk. Hij is gecastreerd, ingeënt en gechipt. Nico heeft een thuis nodig met ervaren en geduldige volwassenen (bij voorkeur zonder kinderen) en als enige kat. Senioren zijn welkom.💙

PS: FIV-katten hebben een zwakke immuniteit, maar met de juiste voeding en toegang tot gezondheidszorg kunnen ze een normaal, gezond leven leiden.🐱

UK ADOPTIONS : FOREVER HOME NEEDED- NODDY 🐱

Meet our gorgeous ginger boy Noddy.🧡 He is the easiest, breeziest cat we have ever rescued. Noddy, a pure Arabian Mau, was rescued from the streets of Dubai and rehomed in the UK when he was 8 months old. Over the years, he has been through a lot of duress and stress. His forever home did not work out, he also had to endure some abuse and neglect but he has been out of that situation for a year now, thriving in his foster home(s).🫶
Noddy is approx. 5 years old. He is a confident and playful kitty. He is super human friendly and can be a perfect starter-apartment cat. Noddy is the most loving, good hearted, trusting, mischievous cat who loves nothing more than to be up on your shoulder, curled up on your lap or under the blankets with you for snuggles. He’s great with kids, including neurodivergent children. He is fine around other cats but can get a bit too carried away with playing.😸 He loves human interaction and likes to stay close to people. He can get a bit nervous around certain noises. He loves his wet food and doesn’t like closed doors of any kind. Will happily help you open all the cupboard doors and drawers so you need to hide those treats well 😉. He can also be placed in a family with dogs, if introduced properly.🐶
So here it is : A beautiful, loving, healthy cat, good with other cats, dogs, children, but also as an only cat. He will thrive in small apartments as well as big houses, as long as his enrichment is taken care of💕. We will provide all the integration guidance, foster notes and behavioural advice to his adopter. Please write in if you think you could finally be the forever home this amazing feline deserves. Two Cats, Two Paths: A Story of Resilience 💚
Noddy and Oreo (both around 4 years old, Arabian Maus) 😻😻are brothers from different mothers, but life brought them together as kittens rescued from the harsh streets of UAE. They grew up side by side, adopted together in what we hoped would be their forever home 🍀. Sadly, that home turned out to be anything but safe. They endured neglect and mistreatment for 3 years and were discarded like used goods, which eventually fractured their bond 😔. We pulled them out of that misery to give them the fresh start they deserved.
In their new foster home, they were already feeling much better and started to relax. However, Oreo, deeply affected by the past, struggled with stress and began spraying. He also fought with Noddy consistently and we had to take the difficult decision to separate them 💔.
Oreo went into a boarding facility and is receiving some much-needed support (and a little help from gabapentin!), Oreo has made significant progress. He still sprays occasionally when stressed, but with patience and understanding, he will thrive in a loving, experienced home. His caretakers absolutely love him and are rooting for him. They tell us he is a very loving and cuddly boy who enjoys his play time as well. 🩷😸
Noddy, on the other hand, has remained in his foster home and has blossomed into the sweetest, most easygoing boy. He’s a perfect fit for a first-time cat owner or someone experienced, whether as an only cat or as a companion to another pet 🐈🐕. He shadows his foster everywhere and is an absolute dream of a cat!🥰🐱
While their paths have diverged, they both share the same hope: to find their true forever homes 🌟. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate cat to welcome into your life, Noddy is waiting for you.
