A little camping weekend ft Kippy’s new Outback Tails bed. He doesn’t often settle down when we’re camping but it at least gives him the option of a nice little spot next to the fire.

Was recently gifted this treat pouch from Outback Tails and am loving it.

I’ve always had bulky pouches that were good for work but you’d never see me wearing it out and about with Kip - something I think a lot of us struggle with.

So I’m loving this compact pouch - it’s easy to clip onto my belt, super small and the waxed canvas actually looks good.

Seems like there’s a lot of talk around these two at the moment so I just wanted to take some time to address them.

First off, it’s tick season again - as always I recommend your pup is up to date with their tick prevention! I tend to do some quick coat checks post sessions (especially pack days) but I do urge you to do a more thorough check if your dog comes out on packs. I often find them crawling on Kip later in the day so keep a look out.

Bird flu has also a bit of a talking point on the South Coast recently. It’s scary - sure, but the right precautions provide some peace of mind.

Bird flu can be contracted for dogs through direct contact with affected wildlife. Looking at the numbers, it’s a rare occurrence, and for that reason, we’re still runnings packs and sessions like normal with obvious precautions like ensuring we’re vigilant with sick or dead wildlife and encouraging the dogs to stay away should we encounter them.

Taking a little break in October - heading over to the UK (again!) for some family time, surf and probably to spy a whole lot of spaniels.

Weather’s warming up which means we are getting out camping again!

Soaking up this weather down the coast finding cosy corners to drink coffee, a quick surf, spending afternoons by the camp fire and meeting a kind stranger who took a nice little family photo of us🌞
