Sometimes, opening your home to another animal after losing one can feel complicated, especially when still dealing with grief. Still, you can miss the one who came before while falling completely in love with the one beside you. 🤧

Buba became part of that new chapter, filling a home in Recife, Brazil, with affection, companionship, and little moments of happiness again. 😻

Abril and Mayo had two very different beginnings. But eventually, their stories would cross paths and take them on the same journey — from Ceuta and Ronda (Málaga), Spain, to Leipzig, Germany. 🧭

A cat can go from the streets to a shelter, from a shelter to a home, and from one country to another. The journey may not always be easy. But with patience, preparation and the right people beside them, a completely different future can become pawsible.🏆

What Hojicha, Mochi, Oolong and Earl BB 伯爵 from Hong Kong really want to show the world is that cats can be part of life's adventures. 🧭

They started harness training indoors, with heaps of treats. Once the cats realized that the harness meant outdoor time, they were hooked — especially Oolong. 🏞️

The four cats love feeling the sea breeze at Repulse Bay, sniffing new plants along Tong Chong Street, and simply sitting back and people-watching in Stanley. ✨

There is something truly special about a Sacred Birman. Maybe it is the striking blue eyes, the beautiful white gloves, or perhaps it is simply their gentle and affectionate nature. 💎

Three years after we first introduced you to LUNI Singapore, their mission continues. 🐾

LUNI (Love the Unwanted, Neglected & Ill-Treated!) continues to provide medical care, support community feeders, manage trap-neuter-release programs, and help cats and kittens find new homes.

But behind every rescue is a side we don’t always see: the difficult decisions, limited funds, limited foster capacity, and the emotional toll of caring for cats in need.

Today, LUNI is seeing a sharp increase in cat abandonment and requests for medical assistance. Some cats need weeks or even months of treatment — and foster families are needed more than ever.

Because sometimes, helping just one cat can make all the difference. ❤️

Read our full 2026 update with LUNI on our CatSwoppr blog and discover how you can help, wherever you are.

Earlier this year, our CatSwoppr team member Thaïss Petit found a mama cat and her kittens hiding in a construction site right by a busy road.

Because of where their nest was, she couldn’t reach them herself. But with the help of SAZ Amsterdam and a lot of patience, the whole family is now safe! 💗 The kittens in this post are actually the ones she found after SAZ brought them to safety!

Here’s a quick pocket guide in case you ever run into a stray or emergency around the city. (A friendly reminder that both SAZ and Dierenambulance are run mostly by volunteers, so every bit of patience helps 🙇‍♀️)
