Learning. Connecting. Growing. Creating impact.

Over the weekend, our Learning and Development Lead, Dr. Undo Jacob Fater, and Resource Mobilization Associate, Dr. Philp Umoru, participated in the Effective Altruism Nigeria Community Retreat.

The two-day retreat created space for meaningful conversations, career reflection, practical learning, and valuable connections, all centered on positioning individuals to create greater impact.

We’re proud to see our team embrace opportunities that strengthen their capacity and expand the impact they can make.

At Vet Konect, we keep learning, growing, and creating impact.

Rabies doesn’t wait for symptoms before it becomes dangerous. Prevention starts long before the bite.

From timely vaccination to responsible animal care and seeking immediate medical attention after exposure, every preventive action matters.

As we continue the conversation, let’s remember: prevention is our strongest defence.

Rabies doesn’t discriminate and neither should the fight.

This World Rabies Day, under the theme “Stronger Together,” we’re reminded that ending rabies requires all of us: government, policymakers, veterinary and health professionals, communities, and pet owners.

As our CEO at Vet Konect emphasizes, collaboration is our strongest tool in the fight against rabies.

Together, we can raise awareness, prevent infections, save lives, and move closer to a rabies-free world.

Rabies may be deadly, but prevention starts with the small things we do every day.

Vaccinating our pets.
Reporting suspected cases.
Avoiding contact with unfamiliar animals.
Seeking immediate medical attention after a bite or scratch.

Each action may seem small, but together, they can make a life-saving difference.

Stronger Together means every responsible action brings us one step closer to a rabies-free future.

Let’s protect our animals. Let’s protect our communities. Let’s help eliminate rabies.
