🐐 Don't Skip! Watching This Video Could Help Save Your Animals.

PPR (Peste des Petits Ruminants) is a highly contagious disease of goats and sheep. If you notice signs such as fever, nasal discharge, eye discharge, mouth sores, diarrhea, or difficulty eating, isolate the sick animal immediately from the rest of the flock.

Early isolation helps reduce the spread of the disease and protects your healthy animals. Provide supportive care and contact a qualified veterinary professional as soon as possible for proper diagnosis and treatment.

Prevention is always better than cure. Keep your animals vaccinated where PPR vaccine is available, maintain good hygiene, and avoid mixing healthy animals with sick or newly purchased ones without quarantine.

Please watch this video to learn how to protect your flock. Share it with other farmers—it could save many goats and sheep.

"Dear Livestock Farmers in Nigeria,

I hope this message finds you well. As a veterinary assistant, I want to take this opportunity to encourage and advise you to put more effort into caring for your animals.

Proper care and management of your livestock are crucial to ensuring their health, productivity, and overall well-being. This, in turn, will lead to increased profitability and sustainability for your farming business.

Some key areas to focus on include:

- Providing adequate nutrition and clean water
- Ensuring proper shelter and housing
- Implementing effective disease prevention and control measures
- Practicing good hygiene and sanitation
- Regularly monitoring and addressing any health issues

By prioritizing the care and well-being of your animals, you will not only improve their health and productivity but also contribute to the growth and development of Nigeria's livestock industry.

Thank you for your hard work and dedication to livestock farming. I wish you all the best in your endeavors.

Best regards,
Sadiq Alhassan Haladu
Veterinary Assistant"
