Olam Nigeria, a company that has impacted positively in the lives of poor farmers. As you all know Awe local government is an area that is blessed with fertile land that is good for variety of crops particularly 'Rice'.
Rice production in Awe local government, is almost taking the lead in the commercial or economic activities in our dear local government Awe, this is because is being produced in a large quantity, and the present of this big company around us to buy our product as an off taker which is 'OLAM'.
Years back, farming activities suffered a setback in Awe due to lack of market but today farmers are witnessing significant improvement because of the present of Olam that is always available to buy Paddy from farmers at an agreed price.
OLAM, as a company does not only play the role of buying farmers produce but also take the responsibility of training the farmers on modern ways of farming.
However, we the farmers of Awe local government area pledge to supply our Paddy to OLAM in metric tons in other to sustain this relationship

I wish to call on the attention of Central Bank, OLAM nig Ltd and Bank of Agriculture to please bring all the necessary imputes and the cash components to farmers on time. This alone will enable the farmers to produce more yield and remit the expected paddy to OLAM nig Ltd as the off takers
