We’ve groomed cats over 1,000 times. This was the first time I genuinely couldn’t move mid session. 😌

Money Miu climbed straight up my back and onto my shoulder, no scratching, no hissing, no biting. Just holding on.

Turns out he wasn’t scared of me. Just the water. And still chose this hooman, is that trust?

An hour’s drive across Klang Valley, passing dozens of options on the way to Puchong... just to drop off one quiet girl named Fluffy.đŸ±

When her dad checked her in, he shared that her previous boarding stay elsewhere left her stressed and off-routine for days after coming home. So when she got to us, we did what we always do: gave her absolute space.

For the first few days, she completely ignored us. (Honestly, being ignored is just part of the job here 😅). But slowly, once she realized she was safe, her real personality came out, turns out she’s a super sweet, lazy girl with a hidden playful side.

Seeing her finally relax and play meant everything. But the best part was getting a message from her dad after pickup saying she went straight back to her normal, happy routine at home.
People don’t drive past 15 cat hotels for fancier rooms. They do it for quiet, gentle care and total peace of mind. ❀

Debab came in for a normal grooming here at Meow’s Inn Puchong and somehow turned into the world’s most effective distraction. 10/10 we would lose focus again.

My first week at a corporate job, I couldn’t even find the toilet for two days.

Didn’t know anyone. Didn’t know the unspoken rules. Just smiled through the awkward silence and hoped nobody noticed. 😅

Turns out 
 our cats feel almost the same thing on their first day with us. New space, new smells, new humans who mean well but are still strangers.

So we never rush them. Some settle in a day. Some take weeks. We just show up, quietly, until they feel safe.

“He doesn’t play anymore. He just sleeps most of the time”

It made me think about how easily we accept the “couch potato” phase. They memorize our living rooms, we get busy, and eventually... we both just stop trying.

But watching Grogu drift around at Meow’s Inn like a street racer proved something we see all the time. They don’t lose their magic.

Sometimes, they just need a new kingdom, zero pressure, and someone willing to sit on the floor and wait for them to remember how to fly.

If your cat is stuck in the “lazy box,” maybe they don’t need a new toy. Maybe they just need a change of scenery? ❀
