猫体内针线异物取出术

What may seem like a harmless sewing item can become a life-threatening emergency for curious cats.

This patient was presented with a needle and thread lodged in the throat. Foreign objects like needles and strings can cause severe injury to the mouth, throat, stomach, and intestines if swallowed.

Thanks to prompt veterinary attention, our team successfully retrieved the needle and thread before more serious complications developed. 💙

🚨 Pet Owner Reminder: • Keep needles, threads, ribbons, and strings out of reach of pets. • Never allow cats to play with sewing materials. • Seek immediate veterinary care if you suspect your pet has swallowed a foreign object.
Prevention is always better than emergency treatment. 🐾
