We are looking for a responsible and dedicated General Assistant to join our team.

Minimum Requirements:
• Minimum qualification: STPM or equivalent
• Able to communicate in Malay and English
• Responsible, punctual, and willing to learn
• Courteous and professional in handling customers
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
* ⁠Not allergic to small animals.
• Please provide details of previous work experience, if any

Job Scope:
• Assisting the Vet during procedures
• Maintaining general cleanliness and hygiene of the clinic premises
• Handling basic customer service and front desk enquiries
• Supporting daily clinic operations as assigned

Your dog likely loves you more than anything — and science finally proves it.

Science has confirmed what dog lovers have long believed: our pups may love us even more than they love food or other dogs.

In a study published in Social Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience, researchers used MRI brain scans to see how dogs respond to praise versus treats and other dogs.

The results?

While some dogs showed no strong preference, and a few favored food, an impressive four out of fifteen dogs actually preferred their owner’s praise over anything else.

Led by neuroscientist Gregory Berns at Emory University, the study suggests that for many dogs, social rewards like affection and verbal praise are just as powerful—if not more so—than food or other dogs.

The research offers insight into why dogs are so bonded to humans.

Berns trained dogs to associate different toys with either food or praise and then monitored their brain activity. He found that the dogs with the strongest neural responses to praise consistently chose their humans over treats. This adds to earlier findings from Berns’ lab showing that dogs’ brains respond more strongly to their owner’s scent than to that of other people or even other dogs.

The takeaway? Dogs aren’t just motivated by food—they genuinely crave our companionship, making praise a healthy and effective form of positive reinforcement.
