Terperangkap di bawah kereta sehingga kaki luka 😮
Grey terperangkap di bawah kereta selama beberapa hari sehingga kaki kiri luka menampakkan tendon dan tulang tibia.

Wound Management 🐱
▶️ History: Grey was presented with a history of being trapped under a car for several days before being rescued.
▶️ Clinical Findings:
Grey had severe swelling on the left hind limb with a large open wound exposing the tibia bone and tendons. There was no bone fracture detected. The wound had a foul odor, with a significant amount of necrotic tissue, pus discharge, and slight bleeding. No maggots were found. Despite the severity of the wound, the limb still had neurological response and Grey was able to bear weight on it.
▶️ Wound Assessment and Initial Management
During wound cleaning, a large amount of seroma fluid was drained from the swollen area. Since the limb was still responsive, open wound treatment was chosen as the initial management. However, due to the severity of the wound and the high risk of infection, close monitoring was required in case amputation became necessary.
▶️ Treatment Plan
Grey was hospitalized for one month because the wound was extensive, deep, and required prolonged care. Treatment included oral double antibiotics, anti-inflammatory medication, skin-supportive vitamins, and regular wound cleaning.
▶️ Progress and Outcome
Throughout the hospitalization, Grey remained stable and cooperative during medication administration and wound management. Over time, the wound gradually improved. The wound, which was initially large, deep, and exposed the bone, slowly became smaller and showed progressive healing.
