A thick coat can make it hard to tell. Try feeling and palpate your cat’s ribs, looking for a waist from above, and checking their tummy from the side and compare with the chart that we've prepared.

Being an overweight cat can increase the risk of diabetes and joint problems and we've see a lot.
But being too thin especially after recent or sudden weight loss also can also be a sign that something might be wrong.

👋 Say hello to Obi, a magnificent and lovable gentle Maine C**n who captured our hearts the moment he walked into OhanaVet. He knows exactly where to pose for the camera! 📸

Trivia:
❤️ Maine C**ns are one of the largest domestic cat breeds. They’re famous for their long & luxurious tail, often as long as their bodies!
❤️ Maine C**n also has large & tufted ears which often called 'lynx tips' to protect their ears.

Behind that majestic face is one very sweet and cooperative patient, manjaaa also! Moments like this make our days at OhanaVet extra fun. 💙
