Raising a rabbit can be challenging and therefore we have summarised a few Do and Don’t on Raising a Rabbit for your easy reference:

Do:
✅ Feed your bunnies the right diet. A variety of hay such as orchardgrass and timothy should make up 80% to 90% of an adult bunny diet.
✅ Keep your bunnies in spacious area and allow them plenty of spaces to roam.
✅ Set up a litter box as bunnies have inclination to p*e and p**p in one area. Do put the hay on top of the litter box as they like to eat and p**p at the same therefore this can encourage good litter box habits.

Don’t:
⛔️ Pick your bunnies up by its armpits or chest as it can lead to serious spinal injuries.
⛔️ Never trim your bunnies’ teeth without a vet’s supervision.
⛔️ Avoid placing your bunnies’ cage in direct sunlight.

Most of us like to cuddle with our bunnies, don’t we? But the fact is most bunnies are scared to be held and cuddled by people. They will do everything to get away from us. However, if we take time to build the bond with them and understand them, we can cuddle without them being fear.

We cuddle with our bunnies by petting them on the floor. Once our bunnies trust us, try lying down next to them, hugging them, or training your bunnies to hop into your lap.

Don’t cuddle them for too long as it will cause anxiety in them. After all, all of us need some ‘me time’. 😜

Happy Weekend Peeps! 🥳

As a bunny parent ourselves, we have always been paying high attention to their daily diets as bunnies can get their stomach upset easily and that may lead to serious medical conditions. Guess that every bunny parent can relate to this, the moment when we keep checking at their p**ps 🫣

Hence, it is vital that the right choice of food should be given, taking into consideration of their age as young and adult bunnies 🐰

At Little Butt, we offer adequate amount of pellets with the choice of Oxbow & Legacy, both come with young and adult selections. However, if your bunnies have other brand preferences, you are encouraged to bring along your preferred pellets when boarding with us. Of course, unlimited Hays will be provided during boarding!
