Hello bun-friends, I have been away and holding off on posting socials focusing on my health and as well as Chewy’s.
A little over a year ago, Chewy was suspected of having thymoma, we consulted professional vets and the surgery was not an option since the mass was located right between his heart and lungs.
We were given an estimated time frame and he had up to a year. Doing what I can, giving him his best life, hoping I would forget about the ticking countdown. Then my worst nightmare came true, right exactly one year mark he wasn’t able to fight against the growth of the tumor and struggled to breathe, hindering his lifestyle.
We laid him to rest a month ago, still thinking about him daily, the odd spots he loves to sleep in, the treats he would go crazy over. I’m truly lost in grief and trying to keep it together for Dozy. Nonetheless, Chewy is in a better place now, thank you for being such a strong boy and battling against this trenched cancer.
