🐾 Your Dog’s Nails Aren’t “Just Cosmetic” — They Affect How They Walk

Did you know that overgrown nails can change the way your dog’s paw meets the ground? 🐶

When nails become too long and repeatedly touch the floor, they can push the toes upward and affect:

✨ Paw placement & posture
✨ Weight distribution
✨ Traction and stability
✨ Natural movement
✨ Long-term mobility

The goal isn’t to cut extremely short in one session — especially when your dog has long quicks. Instead, regular and gradual trimming can help the quick slowly recede over time. ✂️🐾

Think of it like this:
Healthy movement starts from the ground up. ❤️

👉 Check your dog’s nails today. If you can hear that click-click-click on hard floors, it may be time for a paw check!

📌 Save this post as a reminder and share it with another dog parent who needs to see this. Follow Chino & Apex Pet Hotel | KL for more practical dog care, wellness and enrichment tips.
