With so many rescues under our care, life has become a daily balancing act. At the moment, we are caring for 25 cats and kittens at my own home, another 18 cats are boarding at Mages's friend's place and more than 80 cats are staying at The FourFeet Crib under Mages's care.
Our greatest wish is to have all our rescues under one roof. Unfortunately, space is limited, and some of the cats at The Crib are currently battling flu, making things even more challenging. Every single day revolves around feeding, cleaning, medicating and ensuring everyone is safe and comfortable. At the very least, we try our best to give them canned food once a day so they can enjoy something special.
The cats at my home are only staying temporarily. Once we complete the repairs and revamp works at The Crib, they will be moved there. But truthfully, we dream of having a bigger place someday. A corner lot with enough space for all our rescues to live comfortably together would be a dream come true.
The biggest challenge has always been funds. We never seem to have enough. Every donation that comes in is immediately used for food, litter, medical expenses, utilities, rental, caregiver's salary and daily necessities. There is never any excess.
Frankly, it is not easy. But every time we feel overwhelmed, your support keeps us going. Because of you, abandoned, sick, injured and unwanted animals are given a second chance at life.
We humbly ask for your continued support. Whether through donations, sharing our posts or keeping us in your prayers, every little bit helps us continue caring for over 100 rescued lives who depend entirely on us.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with The FourFeet Crib. β€οΈπΎ
