1st September 2026 — A New Month, A New Set of Expenses ❤️🐾

New month, new expenses… and once again, we have to reach out for your HELP.
This month, we are trying our best to replenish our essentials week by week. It will hopefully allow us to plan better and ensure our rescues and the strays we feed continue to have food, clean litter and the basic care they need.

But to start September, we need to raise RM6,440 by this week for:
🏠 September Rental — RM1,800
👩‍🍼 Caregiver’s Salary — RM1,800
🐱 Kibbles (Amico), 8 packets — RM760
🪣 Litter Sand 20kg, 12 packets — RM400
🧼 Tofu Litter, 5 cartons — RM600
🥫 Snappy Tom, 5 cartons — RM480
💊 Medicines — RM500
📦 Miscellaneous — RM100
TOTAL: RM6,440 (±S$2K)

We are honestly struggling. With more than 100 rescues under our care, the amount of food, litter, medication, supplements and daily necessities we need is enormous. And on top of caring for our rescues, we also try our best to feed the community strays whenever we can.

We are not an NGO. We are just ordinary people trying our best to keep these animals safe, fed and cared for. Please help us start September on the right foot. 🙏🏻❤️

We may not be able to rescue every stray we come across but we will always try our best to feed and care for the community cats around us. ❤️🐾

These cats stay at the shoplots near my apartment and from the looks of it, they seem to be cared for by the people there. Some even wear collars with little bells, which tells us that someone is looking out for them. 🥹

But every night, whenever I can, I will still make sure they get something to eat. Because feeding a hungry animal costs us far less than ignoring it. They didn’t choose to be homeless or live on the streets.

We simply cannot rescue everyone. We already have so many rescues under our care and financially, we are struggling. But that doesn’t mean we should stop caring. So please, if you see a stray cat or dog in your neighbourhood and you are able to help, feed them too. You don’t have to rescue them or bring them home. Even a small meal, some clean water or simply showing them a little kindness can make a difference. ❤️

You may not be able to save them all but you can still save them from going hungry that day. 🐾❤️

Once again, today we need to replenish their essentials. 🥺💔

We are really nearing zero now. With so many rescues under our care, supplies run out incredibly fast. We are truly exhausted, physically, mentally and financially but these innocent lives still depend on us.

We hate having to ask for help again and again but we simply cannot let them go without food and basic necessities. Cos we are totally BROKE.....

Please help us replenish today. Any amount will be greatly applreciated. ❤️🐾

At the moment, if possible, we are trying our very best to limit taking in any more rescues. We are struggling financially, and honestly, we are truly exhausted; mentally, physically and emotionally. Health-wise, we are not doing very well either.

We already have over 100 cats and kittens under our care. More than 70 at The Crib, others at my own home and boarding. We currently have 2 dogs at The Crib and another 2 dogs at boarding and on top of that, we continue feeding stray animals whenever we can.

Frankly, we don't have enough. But we do whatever we can, with whatever little we have, because we simply cannot turn our backs on them.

And then yesterday happened…
While I was at the petrol station, I noticed a white cat sitting nearby, looking towards an elderly man who was sitting on a bench. He looked hungry. As usual, I grabbed two pouches of wet food to feed him.
I called for him and he came running towards me.

But then I noticed something was not right.
He kept knocking into whatever was in front of him.

He is BLIND.

Is he abandoned? Did someone lose him? Was he once someone's beloved pet? Only Allah knows.

But one question kept running through my mind…
How could I just leave him there? How could a blind cat possibly survive on his own?
So, I did what I felt I had to do.
I rescued him.

He is now safely at my own home and currently quarantined while we assess his condition and take care of his needs.
I know we are already struggling. I know we are exhausted. I know we have more than we can realistically handle.

But sometimes, a life comes in front of you and you simply cannot walk away.
Because when you have the ability to save a life, how do you pretend you didn't see it?
We don't rescue because we have plenty.
We rescue because we care. ❤️🐾

We call her GeGerl. ❤️

She was once our neighbour’s dog. But it has been more than two months since she stopped going home and sadly, her owner never came looking for her.

And this is exactly one of the reasons why we have so many stray dogs today.

Many of them were once someone’s pets. They had a home, a family and someone who was supposed to care for them. But when their humans stopped caring, abandoned them or simply chose to look away, these innocent animals were left to survive on the streets.

So, who should really be blamed? The animals… or the humans who abandoned their responsibility?

Animals don’t choose to become strays. They don’t choose to be homeless. They don’t choose to be hungry, frightened or unwanted.

The real problem is irresponsible human beings.

Before pointing fingers at stray dogs, perhaps we should ask ourselves: Who put them on the streets in the first place?

GeGerl didn’t abandon her home. Her human abandoned her. 💔

Alhamdulillah, Allah Sent Help When We Needed It Most. 🤲🏻❤️
Alhamdulillah, we managed to fully settle our August rental, TNB bill and replenish some much-needed essentials for our rescues at The Crib.

A very special thank you to two incredibly kind souls who quietly donated without even PM-ing or messaging us to let us know. I’ve been trying to look for them just so I could personally say “thank you”, but sadly, to no avail. They are complete strangers to us, yet they chose to help when we needed it most.
Sometimes, Allah sends His help through people we may never even meet. ❤️

To ALL our DONORS and SUPPORTERS, our REGULARS, SILENT Donors and everyone who continuously shares and supports us; Thank You from the bottom of our hearts.

Every single donation we receive is FULLY utilised for the rescues. Every day, without fail, we have to replenish their food, litter, medicines and other essentials because their needs never stop.

We may be struggling, but we continue because these lives depend on us.

Rocky, Race, Religion & The Misconceptions

With the Rocky issue, there have been far too many comments and sadly, some have crossed a line into sensitive issues involving race and religion.

I want to make one thing very clear, especially to my non-Muslim friends: Please do not equate the actions or misconceptions of some Malays with Islam or assume that Malays or Muslims inherently despise dogs. That is simply not true.

Yes, there are many Malays who have misconceptions about dogs, often because of cultural beliefs, misinformation or a lack of proper understanding of what Islam actually teaches. But that does not mean the Malay race or Islam itself is against dogs.

Islam teaches COMPASSION towards all living beings. Dogs are also Allah's creations, and treating an animal with cruelty is never something that should be celebrated or justified. There are specific Islamic rulings concerning dogs, particularly regarding cleanliness and ritual purity but those rulings should never be twisted into hatred, abuse or cruelty towards the animal.

So please, let us separate race, religion, culture and individual ignorance. Criticise the wrong behaviour if it deserves criticism, but don't turn Rocky's tragedy into hatred towards an entire race or religion.

Rocky was an innocent life. He deserved kindness, protection and compassion regardless of whether he was a dog, a cat or any other creature. And as Muslims, perhaps this is the time to educate one another with knowledge and compassion, rather than anger, hatred and misinformation.

And just look at these two fatty BOMBOMs! I am a Malay Muslim, and I feed, care for and home these two beautiful dogs. Mages takes care of them with so much love, just as she does for the other animals under our care. They are loved, well-fed and treated as part of the family.

So please don't tell me that being Malay or Muslim automatically means we hate dogs. It doesn't. Sometimes, what people need is not more assumptions, they need more understanding, more knowledge and a little more compassion. ❤️

🚨 URGENT APPEAL — AUGUST RENTAL 🐾

Our landlord has already sent us a reminder and we urgently need to arrange RM1,800 for our August rental by this week.

Donations have been extremely slow, while the expenses of feeding and caring for our rescues continue every single day. We are already struggling to replenish their food, litter and other essentials, and now we have to worry about keeping a roof over their heads too.

The FourFeet Crib is their safe haven. We cannot afford to lose it. Please help us raise RM1,800. No amount is too small. Any amount will bring us closer to our target. 🙏

Today is another day and once again, we need to replenish our essential supplies. 💔
Ever since we had to cut down on Snappy Tom wet food because of our financial situation, our 10kg bag of kibbles can barely last two days. With so many hungry mouths to feed, the supplies disappear so quickly.

We are really struggling but we cannot stop. These rescues depend on us and we also continue feeding the stray cats and dogs whenever we can.

Please, if you can spare even a little today, please help us replenish our kibbles and other essentials. Every dollar/ringgit makes a difference.

Good Sunday Morning dear kind-hearted friends. ❤️ It has been an incredibly exhausting time for us; physically, mentally and most of all, financially.

I honestly feel embarrassed having to ask for help again and again. But when you have lives depending on you, you put your pride aside. I have to keep asking because our rescues cannot speak for themselves and I cannot simply turn my back on them.

Right now, both at The FourFeet Crib and at my own home, some of our cats are down with Parvo, flu and eye infections. With so many rescues under our care, we simply cannot afford to send every single one to the vet. We are doing the best we can with what we have; medicines, supplements, proper food, warmth, cleanliness, constant monitoring and, most importantly, lots of LOVE and CARE to keep them comfortable and help them recover.

For the past few months, donations have been extremely slow. We have been surviving by replenishing our essentials day by day, using whatever little funds we have and whatever donations come in. Every single cent has gone straight back to the rescues; food, litter sand, tofu, medicines and their daily needs. Nothing is kept aside because there is simply nothing left to keep.

And TODAY, we have nearly ZERO.
We urgently need to replenish our essentials so we can continue caring for these animals, especially those who are sick and vulnerable.
🙏 Please, if you can help, even a small amount will make a difference. Every contribution adds up and helps put food in their bowls, medicine in their mouths and gives us another day to keep going.

We are super duper EXHAUSTED. We are struggling. But we are still here, fighting for them. Please don't let us face this alone. Help us keep going. Help us keep them alive. ❤️
