✨ Little pieces, big imagination.
Xinyue is one of those exceptionally creative kids who can turn almost anything into art. ✂️🎨
Whether it’s paper, colours, random little shapes or materials she finds around her, she always seems to have a way of imagining something beyond what’s right in front of her.
This time, we explored collage — cutting, tearing, layering and putting different pieces together to create something completely new.
And I think that’s what I love most about collage:
you don’t always need to start with a blank canvas. Sometimes, creativity begins by seeing an ordinary piece of something in a completely different way.
Xinyue did such a wonderful job with this, and it was lovely watching her ideas slowly come together from all those little pieces. 🥹
I’m also incredibly thankful to her parents, who make the journey all the way from Singapore each time just so she can join my tiny little class of joyful art-making. ❤️
It means a lot to me — and I hope these little art sessions continue to be a place where she can explore, imagine and simply enjoy creating. 🌱
