Today after a home visit training at Quayside, Uncle and Auntie came to this restaurant in Georgetown for lunch, it’s so good that it’s worth our recommendation.
For starters we have pie tee, it’s not a regular pie tee, now I really understand when term “fusion” was used in their menu. You can taste Peranakan, Thai and French flavours all in one in this staters alone! Really well done 👍🏽

Uncle is having pork and Auntie is having Salmon and her’s has to be well done as she is a chemo patient, it turns out the fish is just nicely fully cooked, still very moist and not losing its texture and oil, the special flavour that it should have for a higher tier restaurant is there. We must say the chef did control it very well.
As for the pork it’s very soft and it has the special aroma just like the one you expected from a French chef.
The waiter did explain and recommend well as if you’re dining at a fine restaurant.
Frankly speaking we did not expect such a high standard from a restaurant runs by youngsters.
Well done 👍🏽 🫡 ❤️

Bobi, recognized as the world’s oldest dog, has passed away at the age of 31, leaving behind a legacy that goes far beyond records. To those who knew him, he was not defined by his age, but by his quiet, gentle presence and the comfort he brought into everyday life. He spent his years in a rural village in Portugal, surrounded by familiar places and the people who cared for him, living a life rooted in consistency, safety, and belonging. As time passed, his face grew whiter and his steps slower, but the bond he shared with his family only deepened. While the world recognized him for his extraordinary lifespan, his story resonates because it reflects something many understand, the enduring connection between a dog and the people who love them. Thirty-one years represents more than longevity, it is a lifetime of shared moments, loyalty, and companionship. His passing is not just the end of a record, but the closing of a life filled with care and meaning. What do you think makes a dog’s life truly meaningful beyond how long they live?

Did you know your dog might be using the Earth’s magnetic field… when they go to the bathroom?

It sounds unbelievable, but scientists have actually studied this—and the results are fascinating.

After observing dozens of dogs over several years, researchers in Europe discovered that dogs tend to p**p with their bodies aligned in a North–South direction—but only when the Earth’s magnetic field is calm and stable. When the magnetic field is unsettled, that preference disappears.

To figure this out, scientists studied 70 dogs from 37 breeds, recording nearly 2,000 p**ping events and over 5,500 times they urinated. They carefully tracked the direction each dog faced and compared it to changes in the planet’s magnetic field.

In their published study, they explained:

“We measured the direction of the body axis in 70 dogs of 37 breeds during defecation (1,893 observations) and urination (5,582 observations) over a two-year period… Directional preferences of dogs under different MF conditions were analyzed and tested by means of circular statistics.”

Their conclusion? Dogs consistently preferred lining up North–South—and even seemed to avoid East–West directions—when conditions were right.

What’s still a mystery is why.

“It is still enigmatic why the dogs do align at all, whether they do it ‘consciously’… or whether its reception is controlled on the vegetative level (they ‘feel better/more comfortable or worse/less comfortable’ in a certain direction).”

This kind of magnetic sensitivity isn’t unique to dogs. Other animals—like cattle, deer, and even foxes—use the Earth’s magnetic field to help them navigate. In fact, red foxes can use it to hunt prey hidden under snow!

Scientists believe this discovery could open the door to even more research into how animals sense the world in ways we can’t.

So next time your dog spins in circles before going they might not just be picky. They might be following the Earth itself. 🌍🐾
