✅Description :

•The Congo tetra has a typical full-bodied tetra shape with rather large scales. When mature, the iridescent colors of the Congo tetra run through the fish from front to back, starting with blue on top changing to red through the middle, to yellow-gold, and back to blue just above the belly. It is not its fluorescent colors that make this tetra so distinct, but rather its tail fin, which develops into a grayish-violet feathery appendage with white edges. The males get up to 3.0 inches (8.5 cm). Females up to 2.75 inches (6 cm). The male is larger with more color, also the tail fin and dorsal fin are more extended. They also have different colors and extensions in the caudal fin.

•The Snakeskin Barb typically occupies the top and middle level of the water column, although it can often be seen swimming and feeding in the middle and bottom levels as well. It is safe with other peaceful, small fish. It may prey on smaller dwarf shrimp and their fry. Larger, peaceful invertebrates can make good tankmates. The Snakeskin Barb must be kept in groups of 6 or more, although larger groups are more ideal so that subdominant specimens are not bullied by dominant individuals during breeding behavior. Its natural habitat is tropical rainforest areas that typically have clear water.

✅Description :
•Like most barbs, the Odessa barb is an active and generally peaceful fish that is best kept in a community tank. It is a schooling fish that can become semi-aggressive towards other tank mates if it is not kept in groups of 5 or more individuals. As this fish is fast moving, it is best kept in a tank with open spaces, but ample hiding spaces with driftwood or plants is recommended as the fish tend to be skittish if the tank is too bare. A tightly fitted aquarium lid is recommended as well as the fish are prodigious jumpers.

Natural Habitat

The Red Coral Platy is a selectively bred variant of the common Platy (Xiphophorus maculatus), and its natural habitat is similar to that of its wild counterpart. In the wild, Platies are native to Central America, specifically Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras. They inhabit various freshwater environments, including slow-moving rivers, ponds, and streams. These habitats are often surrounded by dense vegetation and offer a mix of open areas and shaded spots. ✅Description :
The Arulius Barb, Dawkinsia tambraparnei, is known from a variety of highly-oxygenated, riverine habitats within the Tambraparni River Basin, Tamil Nadu, southern India. Annual monsoons cause a significant increase in water depth, flow, and turbidity. Arulius Barbs make a stunning addition to the larger aquarium. Active, relatively peaceful towards fish of a similar size, and of a striking appearance when mature, this is a species well worth looking out for if you have a spacious tank (5ft+). They are a shoaling species and are best maintained in groups of at least 6 specimens, and preferably more. The aquarium should be well-filtered with a decent level of oxygenation and areas of fast current. Frequent partial water changes should be carried out to keep nitrate levels at a minimum. Arulius Barbs appreciate some shady planted areas, but because of their appetite for all things green and leafy, only the more robust plant species (Java fern, Anubias sp. etc) should be chosen. Most other plants will end up on their menu! These fish make great companions for larger species of botiid loaches. Not to be kept with small fish or fancy long-finned species. Males will occasionally argue amongst themselves, but no real harm should ensue.
