A meaningful engagement session with 南方大学学院 - Southern University College (SUC) on AeroPod, AeroGreen Asia Sdn. Bhd.’s smart urban home farming system. 🌱

During the session, we shared how AI and IoT can work together to support indoor hydroponic farming — from collecting data through EC, pH and temperature sensors, to using user feedback and plant condition data for AI-assisted analysis.

The discussion went beyond technology. It was about how smart farming can become a practical platform for STEM learning, food security awareness, data-driven agriculture and future urban farming education.

A big thank you to the SUC team for the warm reception, thoughtful questions and meaningful exchange. We look forward to exploring how AeroPod can support learning, research and innovation within academic communities.

🌱 Bringing practical sustainability learning into Malaysian schools

AeroGreen Asia is exploring how companies can support schools through a hands-on programme combining urban farming, IoT and AI.

Students can learn by growing vegetables, monitoring real data and understanding how technology supports sustainable food production.

It has been a while since our last AeroGreen update — and the plants kept growing. 🌱

Here is our latest Romaine Lettuce growing indoors using the AeroPod hydroponic system.

Romaine lettuce, also known scientifically as Lactuca sativa var. longifolia, is commonly grown for its long, upright leaves and crisp texture. In an indoor hydroponic setup, its growth can be observed closely — from roots, leaves and light response to water and nutrient use.

For us, this is more than just growing vegetables.

It is a small example of how smart indoor farming can bring fresh food closer to homes, schools, condos and urban communities — while also creating opportunities for STEM learning, sustainability awareness and future food innovation.

The International Sustainability Week 2026 and GreenScape: International Green Innovation Exhibition will bring together future-ready technologies, green building solutions and practical innovations for the built environment.
