I had the pleasure of spending a few days with Tucker, Waylon, Lizzy, and Tiki. They are a group of 2 Vizlas and 2 pointers so they all love chasing birds. The dogs got to relax in their own home and take lots of naps on their couches. Tucker enjoyed taking a dip in the pool after a hot afternoon of exploring his backyard. Meet my new husky friends, Luna and Gin. I did drop-ins at their house while their pet parents were out of town. Gin was a very calm and dignified gentleman. His pet parents were concerned that he wouldn't eat while they were gone but I followed their detailed instructions and Gin ate all of his meals. Luna was a bit nervous during our meet and greet but she became comfortable with me shortly after I arrived for the first drop-in. Luna had a great time chasing her toys all around the house. I loved ending the visits by giving each dog a biscuit. 🦴🐾

Meet Izzy and Kitty. I did drop-ins for them last week so they had fresh food, fresh water, and a clean litter box every day. Izzy is one of the most affectionate kittens I've ever met. She loved having company and often stretched out at my feet so I could pet her more easily. Kitty is a dignified, elderly cat who prefers to watch from afar. Meet my new friends, CeCe, Rebel, and Tilly. All 3 pups enjoy their mid-day potty breaks while their pet parents are at work. CeCe is lightning-fast when chasing after her ball. Rebel goes into full bird dog pointing mode—one paw up, eyes locked—anytime he sees a bird. Tilly the boxer just wants to be a lap dog.

Meet Copper and Rocky. I got to spend 6 days with them while their pet parents were away. Copper enjoyed following his nose outside and supervising me while I ate in the kitchen. Rocky loved chasing his tennis ball as much as he enjoyed napping on the couch.

Meet Reggie and Hazel. I spent the weekend with them so their family could attend an 80th birthday party. Reggie's favorite activity was sprinting to the kitchen whenever he heard the refrigerator door open, hoping I'd drop a crumb. Hazel loved to sit beside Reggie and carefully clean his face. They also enjoyed their daily walks and cuddles and having someone stay with them in their own home.

I also take care of cats. Meet Miss Lily. She enjoys lots of attention (and lots of food). Lily's owner said she would be shy and hide but Lily was very friendly and happy to have company.
