The staff kept hearing a cry so they went out to investigate…

21/09/2026

She’s been through more than any dog should. 🥺

She came to us after being hit in the face so badly that one of her eyes was out and couldn’t be saved. We removed it, she healed… and then we discovered she had a massive kidney stone.

That stone I’m holding in this video came out of this little girl. 😳

Thanks to everyone who helped make her surgery possible, she has recovered beautifully. And after everything she’s survived, she’s finally ready for the best part of her story:

Finding her family. 🧡

She’s recovered, she’s waiting, and she’s ready for adoption. 🐾

Perspective is everything. 🧡

Every dog in these photos has been helped by Los Adoptables in one way or another, thanks to your donations. Some needed food. Some needed medicine. Some needed rescue. All of them deserved to know what it feels like to be cared for. 🐾

Kragen got adopted today… and of course, his comfort rock went home with him. 🥹🧡

Kragen was rescued about two years ago. Henry and I were doing one of our Bravecto and food runs in the hills when we came across a heartbreaking scene. Kragen was tied up, terribly underweight, and lying beside him was a puppy who had already passed away.

We brought him with us, and over time, this sweet boy found comfort in the funniest little thing: a rock. 🪨 He would use his rock to soothe himself, and it became his comfort rock.

Today, Kragen left the shelter for the last time—with his new family, his freedom, and yes… his rock. 🥹

After everything he survived, he will never have to be tied up and forgotten again. Now he gets to be loved, safe, and free.

Happy adoption day, Kragen. You waited a long time for this one. 🧡🐾

Sometimes, helping looks like this. 🐈‍⬛🧡

This tiny kitten came to us needing medical attention for a serious injury to his mouth. Without treatment, something that may seem small can quickly become painful, infected, and life-threatening.

Today, he’s safe, being treated, eating, and getting the chance he deserves. 🥹

This is why your support matters. Every donation helps us continue providing medical care to animals who otherwise might have nowhere to turn.

Thank you for helping us help them. 🐾🧡
