Happy Holidays also means giving gratitude! I am grateful for my family, for my friends and for the love shared among all of us on the planet. Which is why I continue devoting myself to a cause that captured my heart ever since my Mom returned to Tangier, Morocco to retire: Cats of Tangier Rescue Mission. There is still a long road ahead to make a difference for these vulnerable Moroccan cats on the streets of Tangier: a sanctuary home to improve upon; a trap-neuter-release program to fund, covering medical costs for our local veterinarian, who already gives generous discounts...all this made possible with the financial support we get! So this is my Happy New Year wish...to keep going on this road of saving cat lives! Any donations will be put to good use for these fur babies! Hello All! I would like to update you on behalf of our ongoing mission to rescue vulnerable, or injured cats and kittens from the Tangier city streets!

This Fall 2025 we have already rescued a total of 7 kittens, 6 on their way to adoption overseas! (see photos below of a couple of the rescued kittens!)

Myself and Nour, our beloved rescuer out in the field, have been joined in recent times with Camille from Canada who rescued a kitten during her travels in Morocco! With the help of Camille, we are set to launch a new website to draw attention to our work and help cultivate a sponsorship/adoption program for these beautiful Moroccan street cats who can benefit from a loving home! We are passionate about our work: each cat, each kitten means the world!

And to all of you who have supported us along the way and believed in our cause, a Big Thank You! As the new year approaches, we have big dreams to continue working towards a fully funded and staffed rescue shelter!

Our wish continues to be that every cat in Tangier and the World feel safe and loved!

Our vision is to make of Tangier a cat friendly city in Morocco where cats can walk around and sleep safely.

To make our vision a reality:
1. Be kind to street cats
2. Interfere when a street cat is in need of help, sometimes talking people off of kicking an animal and spreading awareness by words is very helpful.
3. Put a pot of clean water by your door for street cats to drink (ain't nowhere they can find water to drink when they are thirsty)
4. If you can buy dry cat food and put a bowl of dry food by your doorway, please do!
5. Like and share our content to help us spread awareness!

We are very sad and heartbroken right now 😢

The kitty fighter couldn't make it.

He was taken to the vet by our friend, but he was in a very bad state, he had several bones broken and was carrying a virus which only made it worst.
It was impossible for him to fight even more, but we are happy we was shown love and care on his last day.

We will be keeping an eye on his siblings in case they show any symptoms of the virus 😞

Thanks to anyone who helped from near or far, really do appreciate it.

Our dedicated team members took this little fighter to the vet now.
We hope he can make it and live a happy life after all this struggle and suffering 😿😿
