Maybe unknown but I have a soft spot for australian cattledogs and blue heelers in particular. So when this guy, Like, walked in the door, I instantly fell in love. Why? Although he’s bigger, his markings and colours are so similar to my first dog Jake, the granddaddy-dog of Fitdog. ❤️🌈. So when I had him today, I all but had to keep myself from squeezing and hugging him, while keeping a professional appearance😅😇. The video is not the greatest quality but I am smitten with this guy. He’s 15 but I hope he lives till he’s 30 so we can keep fussing over him. ❤️💪😂.

Yuno had a total hip replacement on his right hip barely 2 months ago. He’s recovering super well! Here we’re teaching him to walk backwards - an exercise whereby the hips tend to extend a bit more - and end by stepping up to a small object. He did a bit better the previious rounds before I filmed it, where you really saw him make a conscious lifting of the hind legs to feel and step up to the pad. Well done Yuno on your super recovery!💪💪💪

Aug was a rough month for some of our oldies. We had 5 dogs pass away in fairly close succession. Surely the consistend heat has not helped 😢. Worst part of this job 😭. RIP Theo (6), Tess (14), Kirby (15) , Lilly (14) and Hayfa (14)💔💔💔💔

Welcome to our latest addition, apprentice and co-worker at Fitdog: Welcome to Lilo! Lilo is Jennifer’s dog and is a golden retriver of about 5 months old. You can get to meet her over the next weeks and months. We still have to define her job description… but will find her something to show her best side! 😍😍😍

Oscar is a 4 year okd Corgi who is about 10 weeks post TLPO surgery for a torn CCL cricoate ligament. 2nd corgi of the week! ❤️❤️. Taking a stroll in the hydro and checking out to make sure nobody is sneaking up from behind😉😍

Today Freddy came for his ‘pre travel’ check and to ensure he’s in the best of shape for his ‘migration’ down south to Spain for the autumn and winter months. Freddy is a 12 yo Griffon Petit Brabançon, who started coming at the start of spring this year when he was back in Luxembourg. He has luxating patellas and some arthritis. The owners were very diligent not only in bringing him in regularly but also in doing our prescribed home exercices. All this made them notice how good this was for Freddy and how he’s better and more mobile now than when he started. Vive lo mejor posible! - go live tour best live- in Spain Freddy and we’ll see you in a few months! 🇪🇸🌞🌞
