A home visit was done near Kalutara to treat a very aggressive dog with sever generalized demodicosis with secondary pyoderma. Generalized demodicosis occurs due to mite infestation and needs treatment as soon as possible to overcome the condition. Otherwise it damages not only skin health but also natural behaviour of the dog due to severe scratching, irritation and wounds. The general checkup is also done with a collection of required samples. Finally advised the owner how to manage the skin condition with a treatment plan.🐾🐾

General checkup is very important to know the differnt medical conditions before those become critical. This puppy was properly vaccinated and presented to do the general checkup and adjust the suppliments. During this session, adviced to the owners to give vitamins , deworm treatment according to puppy's body weight. Treated for ear infection. Adviced how to give proper bath without water drained into ear canal. So, if you have a furry ball please visit to your vet once a month to check the health condition of your pets and take necessary advices to ensure happy healthy life. 🐾🐾

Squamous cell carcinoma is a very common condition in white or light colour cats. Disease happens when light colour cats are too much exposed to the UV light. Lesions are commonly seen on skin (ear tips, nose) and mouth. Early detection of the condition facilitates prevention of spreading cancer into internal organs and saves life. Surgery is the best option for skin lesions to prevent spreading of cancer combined with radiation. If your cat has a wound in ear tips, nose or skin which is not cured after treating several times and blood oozing out recurrently, please check it with your veterinary as soon as possible.
Surgery was carried out to remove squamous cell carcinoma in both ears.

Buddy was treated for tick fever one week ago. After that, accidentally he had to face a dog bite. Then two lacerations were sutured and corrected. Now he is fully recovered from both conditions. But Buddy has hypothyroidism and atopic dermatitis. He is still under treatment for those medical conditions. Buddy is a very cooperative furry friend and successfully treated in her comfort zone. (Home visit).

The dog was vaccinated with all main 3 vaccines against parvo viral enteritis, distemper and rabies. A general clinical examination was carried out at the same time in his comfort zone. (Home visit).

Another home visit. Louis shown a sever limping in his forelimb and reduced movements. Examination was carried out under general anesthesia and treated for severe crack in foot pad and pododermatitis. 🐾
