During a house visit, this little patient became so comfortable that the consultation turned into cuddles climbing onto the doctor’s shoulder and staying close like an old friend. A 4-month-old rabbit came in with a broken front leg — and walked out on the road to recovery. 🐰🩺

Rabbit orthopaedic surgery is one of the most delicate procedures in veterinary medicine. Their bones are fragile, their bodies are tiny, and anaesthesia in rabbits carries real risk without the right setup.

Our team stabilised the fracture using pin fixation, performed under gas anaesthesia for controlled, closely monitored support throughout surgery. Rabbits need careful handling, precise monitoring, temperature management and a gentle recovery and this little one got all of it. 💛
