Vaccination 💉 is crucial for cats because it trains their immune system to fight deadly infectious diseases, preventing illness, reducing severity, and stopping the spread to other felines, protecting kittens, older cats, and even humans from conditions like Feline Leukemia and Rabies, making it a cornerstone of preventative care.

• 6–8 weeks: First core vaccines (usually FVRCP: feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, panleukopenia)
• 10–12 weeks: Second dose
• 14–16 weeks: Final kitten booster ± rabies (depending on local law)
• 1 year: Booster vaccines
• Adults: Boosters every 1–3 years as advised by a veterinarian

🐱The safest and most effective time to start vaccination is 6–8 weeks of age, when a kitten’s immune system can respond properly and maternal antibodies begin to decline. Vaccinating too early may reduce effectiveness, while delaying increases disease risk.❤️
