Meet T-Bone. ๐พ
When T-Bone came to our clinic, he was dealing with several health challenges that required immediate medical attention.
One of the main concerns was liver damage. To support his liver function and aid recovery, Dr. Lilian prescribed liver protectants as part of his treatment plan.
T-Bone was also suffering from ascites, a condition where fluid accumulates in the abdominal cavity, causing discomfort and abdominal swelling. To help remove the excess fluid, he was given frusemide, a medication that encourages the kidneys to eliminate more fluid through increased urination.
In addition, T-Bone had developed pressure sores on his hind limbs. These wounds required careful cleaning and management using iodine to help prevent infection and promote healing.
As part of his supportive care, T-Bone also received a metabolic stimulant injection to boost his bodyโs functions, along with a multivitamin injection to support his overall health and recovery.
Cases like T-Boneโs remind us why early veterinary care is so important. If you notice unusual swelling, wounds that arenโt healing, reduced activity, or changes in your petโs health, donโt wait, seek veterinary attention as soon as possible.
At Aniworld Veterinary Clinic, weโre committed to giving every patient the care they need on their journey to recovery. ๐๐
