Shibaura Riverside Date Walk with Leeloo!

Thankful for another break in the rain, we happily headed out for our riverside adventure around Shibaura Island! 🥳
Few days ago, there were several signs warning people to stay away from the riverside while it was raining, so it was great to finally enjoy the area again safely! 🙌
Along the way, we met a couple of friendly new doggy friends and had some fun socializing. But the funniest moment was seeing Leeloo’s jealous side come out when another dog got attention from me! 😂
She’s usually happy to share her treats, but when it comes to her handler /BFF, she was basically like, “Excuse me?! That’s MY human!” 🤭
We took a different route back home for a little extra exploring, and before we knew it, another hour had passed! I seriously need to find somewhere to fix my watch 😓⌚️
Back home, it was our usual routine: a thorough wipe-down → anti-itch solution → a little neck massage with lots of love → and finally, her favorite carrot snuffle mat 🥰
Great adventure today, Princess Leeloo! See you again next week! 👋🏻

Thursday Spontaneous Walkie with Leeloo!

Just this morning my watch suddenly decided to break, so we lost track of time and had to rely on Leeloo’s energy level to guide our adventure 🤭
We headed over to the nearby monorail station, one of Leeloo’s favorite spots because she absolutely loves racing the trains! 🚝💨
And after a whole week of rain, the sunshine finally came out! ☀️ We met some new furry friends and plenty of dog lovers enjoying their lunch break 🥰
After about an hour, we headed home and spent a few extra minutes relaxing and cooling down before finishing our day with Leeloo’s favorite snuffle mat 😉
Hope you enjoyed our spontaneous adventure today, Princess Leeloo! See you again tomorrow! 👋🏻

Lucky Wednesday Pier Date! 🌦️

First of all, a big thank you to the rain for taking a break during Leeloo’s date walk, making our fun pier adventure possible without her froggy raincoat today! 🥳
We enjoyed a nice, long walk to stretch those little legs and give her both the physical exercise and mental stimulation she needed 🥰
Head for our top 3 favorite race run spots for some extra zoomies before heading back home after an amazing hour long walk! 👏
Great job today, Princess Leeloo! Enjoy your snuffle mat, and I’ll see you again tomorrow! 👋🏻

🐶🐶🐶🐶 Coco, Holly, Maggie & Luna Third Woof Patrol with the Sisters!

Tiny steps, but wonderful progress! The girls are greeting me with more welcoming faces and noticeably less barking than during our early sessions. A lovely milestone! 👏

🐶 Maggie – Learning to Navigate Her Excitement:
Today's walk was a little different, with Maggie joining Luna from the first and me for the entire adventure. She seemed a little confused at first, but after some reassurance and fun sprints together, she gradually settled down. 🥰
Throughout the walk, I gently redirected her when she pulled and encouraged her to keep moving whenever she felt hesitant. Keeping her mind focused on our walk. Every walk is another piece of the puzzle!

🐶 Luna – Building Confidence Through Choice:
Giving Luna the freedom to explore, pause, retreat, and try again without pressure. Keeping the leash relaxed, creating distance when needed, and gently moving backward allows her to choose whether to follow.
The goal is to help her feel safe, build trust, and gradually associate walks with positive experiences. Little by little, we’re making neighborhood adventures more enjoyable! ❤️
Both sisters are beginning to show more of their personalities and communicate their feelings. Understanding their individual needs is an important part of building trust, and I’m grateful to be part of their journey. 🥹
Can’t wait to see my lovely Woof Patrol again next week! Keep those tails wagging, sisters! 👋🏻

Tuesday Date with Froggy Leeloo!

Starting this week from Tuesday, arriving after another appointment, Leeloo immediately gave me a thorough sniff inspection! Apparently, someone wanted to know where those unfamiliar scents came from. So, of course, I told her all about my new furry family! 🥰
Then it was time for our adventure time wearing her adorable Froggy raincoat as it’s raining outside! Dog run ➡️ playground ➡️ tiny step jumps ➡️ her adorable runway walk ➡️ crosswalk zoomies! 💨
A little detour for some attention from dog loving people, and we were back home after a fun hour exploration! 🤩
Back home a quick towel wipe down, anti-itch care, and finally, her favorite carrot 🥕 snuffle mat! See you again tomorrow! 👋🏻

Second Woof Patrol with the Young Sisters!

Third time meeting and our second Woof Patrol with Maggie and Luna!
Today’s mission was to understand their personality as a pack and individual, build Luna’s confidence through positive reinforcement, and give Maggie a calm, steady walking experience 🙌
🐶 Maggie: Continuing to observe what triggers Maggie’s barking and pulling when she sees other dogs.😉
Today, I noticed that Maggie became vocal when she spots another dog from a distance, but only when Luna was around. She seemed eager to interact with the other dog, and once the dog passed, she quickly settled back into her usual self. 🤭
This is still my initial assessment, but my first impression is that Maggie may simply be super excited to meet other doggies and expressing that excitement through barking. More observation will help me understand her better! 🥰

🐶 Luna: Luna’s freeze during walks, while keeping her comfort and emotional safety as the priority. Using Fear Free confidence-building techniques, I gently encouraged her through backward movement and choice-based desensitization, allowing her to move at her own pace. 👏
The goal is to help Luna gradually associate walks with positive, enjoyable experiences rather than something that makes her feel anxious or overwhelmed. Every small step forward is a little victory! 👍
Understanding Each Sister’s Needs: Every dog has their own personality, emotions, and comfort zone. Taking the time to understand Maggie and Luna individually is an important part of building trust and helping them feel safe.

Thank you always for allowing me to drop by and just give cuddles to the adorable siblings 🥳
Funny how just 8 months ago Anne was a little puppy and now she looks absolutely stunning all grown up into such a beautiful lady! 😍
And Warren? The moment he heard my voice, he immediately flopped onto the floor, offering his belly like, “Taki, you know what to do!” 😂 Belly rubs and full attention were officially on the agenda! 🥳
It’s amazing how quickly time flies when you’re having fun with these lovely siblings. 🥰
So happy to see you both again! 👋🏻

Our First Official Woof Patrol!

Today marked our first official woof patrol, starting with a calm reintroduction to all four pups and letting them know that Taki comes in peace! 😂
Building Trust, One Paw at a Time: The first 20 minutes were all about getting comfortable and building trust. Holly and Coco did an amazing job setting an example to Maggie 🥹
Luna reminded me of Taro, one of my previous sensitive fur family. And when I heard that she loves running, I immediately started looking forward to our future running adventures together! 🤩
Maggie’s Walk went surprisingly smoothly! Fun fact: Maggie loves walking in a straight line and sticking to her route. Luckily, thanks to the rain, there weren’t many dogs around today, so she could enjoy her walk without getting too worried 😂
Luna’s Confidence Building Session: On high alert, combined with today’s rain and traffic noises, going for a walk was a little too overwhelming for her. Rather than pushing her beyond her comfort zone, I focused on helping her associate walks with something fun and positive. Every little step toward feeling safe is a victory! 🥰
I also stayed an extra hour today to make sure I didn’t leave the house while everyone was still feeling anxious. We wrapped up our first session only after all four pups had settled down and were feeling relaxed 👍
Hope you all had a wonderful first experience! I’m already looking forward to seeing my Woof Patrol again tomorrow, building more trust, sharing more experiences, and helping each pup gradually expand their comfort zone at their own pace. See you all tomorrow 👋🏻

Busy Saturday, Last Visit to Two Big Bros!

Wrapping up my busy Saturday to Preto and Eros! Both bros were eagerly waiting for my arrival 😁
After their usual happy greetings, both boys suddenly froze for a full 10 seconds… Nose investigation activated! They had detected some unfamiliar doggie scents on my clothes. 😂
For today’s Broventure, we headed toward the Shirokanedai park and neighborhood area to enjoy the Saturday vibes. But to keep Eros comfortable and safe, we took the quieter route 👍
Once both bros had completed their marking missions, we looped back home via a different route, returning after a little over an hour of adventure. 🤩
Back home, the boys enjoyed a few minutes to relax before finishing our hangout with a well-deserved 2 scoops of dry food each 😋
Another wonderful Broventure with my two big boys! Thank you for having me, Preto and Eros. See you again next time! 👋🏻

Welcome Our Newest Additions to the Taki Fam!

Today was all about meeting four adorable pups, all of them invited me in their own ways. I took my time introducing myself to everyone individually, learning about their daily routines and getting familiar with their special care needs. ❤️
Meet the lovely pack! 👇🏻
🐶 Maggie: The tiniest of the bunch, but once she barks everyone follows BIG heart of the family! This 3 year old micro poodle is full of personality. 😁
🐶 Luna: The youngest of the family, a rescued mixed-breed pup with a sensitive heart. Building trust is the key to our relationship bonding keep at her own pace and helping her feel safe and comfortable will be our priority. 🥹
🐶 Holly: The white-coated queen of the house! She’s the heart of this family, and although she’s sadly dealing with cancer, and partially blind and deaf. she’s doing very well. Sending this beautiful girl lots of love. 🥰
🐶 Coco: The eldest of the pack and the only boy, with a calm and gentle presence. I can already tell that building a strong foundation of trust with Coco will be an important first step toward getting to know the whole family. 😉

Thank you so much for welcoming me into your home and giving me the opportunity to meet everyone today. It was truly a pleasure getting to know all four of you! 🙏
Looking forward to building trust, making happy memories, and welcoming you all into the Taki Fam! 🙌
