Please help ensure that Rodica’s dogs continue to live in a safe and loving environment.

Rodica has dedicated years to caring for stray and abandoned dogs in Jordan, building a shelter that provides protection, compassion, and hope. Supporters fear that leadership changes could threaten the dogs’ well-being and the caring environment she created.

This petition calls on local authorities to allow Rodica to remain in charge so these vulnerable animals can continue receiving the care and protection they deserve.

Yes, we’re still regularly feeding stray dogs in the Petra area. After the Israel–Hamas conflict, the Iran-related escalation further affected the region, and tourism has remained very low for a long time. As a result, even more hungry dogs and cats are struggling to survive. Thankfully, a small number of caring locals continue collecting leftover food and doing their best to feed and them.

Good evening!

We’re back again after yesterday, and this moment feels especially meaningful. It has been nearly three long weeks during which we weren’t able to finalize the arrangements with the local Bedouins. Meanwhile, the hungry dogs and cats waited anxiously for the food they depend on.

Those weeks felt even longer knowing these animals were out there, hoping for the help they’ve come to rely on.

Because of the several weeks without food, some animals have wandered off in search of sustenance elsewhere. We hope they find their way back to us soon.

Thank you for being with us on this journey. The animals feel your support — and so do we. ❤️🐾

I was told that the blind puppy crossed the rainbow bridge on June 17th. My Bedouin friend just shared the news today. He was eating well one day, and the next, he was gone...

It’s heartbreaking, especially knowing his mother was poisoned by cruel hands not long before.

Today, noticeably fewer stray dogs came by to receive their daily portion of dry food, possibly due to the intense heat. 🥵🥵🥵

Another day. Another scorcher. Another day spent feeding hungry mouths.
But today was different—missiles streaked across the sky above Petra.

Still, we hold on to hope—when will peace finally find its way to the Middle East?

It hit 32°C today, with sharp, unforgiving sunrays from morning all the way until sunset.

Today’s a dry food day. Our blind little boy, along with the other strays, is happily crunching away—sharing a rare moment of comfort in the heat.

Overflowing with Puppy Love! 🐾
These little ones are growing up happy and safe—without fear. No harsh hands or mean humans here. We're doing everything we can to ensure they grow up knowing love, not fear. 💖

But then, we came across a blind white puppy (in the video). His future is uncertain... and he needs all the care, love, and hope we can give.

There is a red dog known for his aggression toward anyone he encounters—except for the Bedouin man who feeds him. This man keeps the dog in his small barrack, where the animal lives peacefully among a group of rabbits the Bedouin also cares for.
